寺子屋NINJA - 和文化体験

Our name “Terakoya NINJA” has a special meaning.
“Terakoya” were traditional temple schools in Japan – places of learning and growth.
“NINJA” stands for Nippon International Network for Japanese Alliance,
which we translate as “日本文化国際連携ネットワーク.”

By combining these two ideas, our goal is to create a modern place of learning that connects Japanese culture with people from all over the world.

Tae Iwasawa, CEO of Terakoya NINJA, shares her passion for Japanese culture including tea ceremony, ikebana, and kimono experiences.


寺子屋NINJAの名前には、実は深い意味があるんです。
「寺子屋」は、お寺で子どもや人々が学んだ“学びの場”。
そして「NINJA」は、
Nippon International Network for Japanese Alliance の頭文字で、
“日本文化国際連携ネットワーク” を意味しています。

昔ながらの学びの心を大切にしながら、日本文化を世界とつなげていく。
そんな想いを込めて「寺子屋NINJA」と名付けました。

寺子屋NINJAの代表、岩沢妙重（Tae Iwasawa）は、茶道、華道、着物体験などを通して、日本文化の魅力を世界中の人々に伝えています。
