Hi, I'm Trev Hutchings and welcome to my channel. 90 percent of my videos are requested by my fantastic subscribers, so if you have a question about Keytars, BandLab or pretty much anything Music related, let me know, I'll either answer or even create a video about it!
From my days as a rock drummer to more modern times of experimental keytar drock, I've waded through the music revolution from Abbey road studios and Vinyl records to the digital home mixing desks that could churn out a demo cd, to the dawning of the DAW. And so too I saw the birth of the digital era with the likes of digital synths and the invention of Midi. The pathway has not always been an easy one, knowledge of how to use these new inventions were not always part of the inventors plans but today we have the internet and knowledge flows from one good soul to another, so let us join the flow.

You might have noticed that over the last couple of weeks I have trialed the idea of posting a video every day. This has surprisingly not been as popular as I was hoping it would be. So today I have taken this reaction on board and will now return to posting on my normal slots of Saturday and Wednesday. I am however, about to upgrade my studio to Apple M4 and Logic, after 30 years of Sonar, so I will be aiming to add a new regular slot for Garageband/Logic Pro on Mondays.
May I also just say that I am eternally grateful to my regular viewers/subscribers for keeping this channel alive.

Hi,
Today I posted the first in a new series of videos I call Quick Tips. These videos are short (2 minute) videos that quickly provide tips and answers to questions I get asked. You can post questions and suggestions on the videos or on this post and if I can answer it in 2 minutes or less I will do my best to make a quick tip video.
The first videos are quick tips for the bandlab mobile app but I'm happy to take suggestions for pretty much anything that is related to my channel.
Quick Tips will normally be available to all members a few days before they go public.

Hi Everyone,
Today I tried something new... I uploaded my A Capella Vocal Harmony tutorial as two videos instead of one (part 1 and part 2). My feeling is that you probably prefer two tutorials that are under 5 minutes long than one long 10 minute video (that might have a mid point advert), so please let me know with this little poll. And thanks for supporting this channel.
