Not Clay related! But take time to read.
Ever since I came to Hong Kong, I have frequently seen this artist, always working in the same area. He uses simple poster colors, inexpensive brushes, and cheap paper, but his dedication and love for what he is doing are consistently inspiring. His work shows that we do not need expensive supplies to begin pursuing what we love!
A lot of people in Hong Kong live in very small houses, and I imagine he is one of them. Yet, he still manages to find a place to create art, even within this bustling city. That is truly inspiring!
As a domestic helper here who doesn't have a lot of time for myself, I still make time for my art. I see myself in him; we both don't make excuses. 🫶

Here is a photo of a polymer clay peach that looks like two different pieces of clay, but it is just one, shown as both a baked and a raw piece. This demonstrates why we need to learn the color of our clay, because it changes once it is baked.
