Hi! I'm Em, the disabled crochet designer, educator, and content creator behind Meema Makes. My goal is to make crochet easy and approachable for everyone, regardless of your skill level. Hello everyone,
I’ve decided to remove all left handed knitting tutorials from my channel, as I discovered they were incorrect. Don’t worry, all left handed crochet tutorials will stay up!
For left handed tutorials, I usually mirror my footage in editing. This works fine for crochet, but unfortunately not for knitting because the stitches end up twisted. Because of that, I’ve chosen to take those videos down.
I’ll try to learn left handed knitting so I can teach it accurately in the future, but since I’m not ambidextrous, it might take some time or may not be something I can do.
I’m truly sorry if these videos caused any confusion or frustration. I always aim to make my tutorials as clear and high quality as possible, so I’m really disappointed to have missed the mark here.

It's week 12 of the Hexalong and it's time to start seaming! How are you getting along with it?
I have some wonderful memories of seaming my hexagons because it was when I first started posting as Meema Makes online in September 2022. Here we are 3 years later and I eventually got the pattern out!
