π 14th Sunday in Ordinary Time β COME TO HIM, YOU WHO ARE BURDENED π
"Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest." β (Matthew 11:28)
Today, the Church invites us into the 14th Sunday in Ordinary Timeβa quiet, sacred pause in our daily lives to return to God and rediscover peace within.
πΏ Though itβs an βordinaryβ season, Godβs grace is never ordinary. Jesus gently calls: "Learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart."
π Today is also the optional memorial of Saint Maria Goretti, a young virgin martyr who chose forgiveness over hatred, purity over resentment. Her courage remains a powerful witness for young people today.
π― If your heart is weary, feel free to share your prayer in the comments below. Let this community lift each other up in faith and hope.
π Where are you joining from? Did anything special happen at Mass in your parish today? Let us know! π¬π

Today, Sunday, June 29, 2025, the Catholic Church celebrates the solemn feast of Saints Peter and Paul, two key apostles of the early Church. This is one of the major feasts in the Churchβs liturgical calendar.
π Meaning of the Feast of Saints Peter and Paul
This feast commemorates the two pillars of the Church:
Saint Peter: Chosen by Jesus as the "rock" of the Church, he was the first to profess his faith and was given the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven (cf. Mt 16:13-19).
Saint Paul: Initially a persecutor of the Church, he became a zealous apostle after his conversion, spreading the Gospel widely and writing many letters to Christian communities, including the letters to Timothy (cf. 2 Tim 4:6-8,17-18).
Both saints were martyred in Rome during the reign of Emperor Nero.
π Readings for Todayβs Mass
First Reading: Acts 12:1-11 β The account of Saint Peter being freed from prison by an angel.
Second Reading: 2 Timothy 4:6-8, 17-18 β Saint Paul reflects on his life and ministry.
Gospel: Matthew 16:13-19 β Jesus asks His disciples about His identity and grants Peter authority.
The liturgical color for priests today is red, symbolizing the blood of the martyrs.
π Reflection
The Feast of Saints Peter and Paul calls believers to live with strong faith, courageously bearing witness to God in all circumstances. The community prays for one another, just as the Church prayed for Saint Peter when he was imprisoned (cf. Acts 12:5).
Itβs also a time to reflect on our own faith journey, learn from the examples of these two apostles, and bravely live out God's word in our daily lives.

Today, Wednesday, June 25, 2025, according to the Catholic calendar, is the Wednesday of the Twelfth Week in Ordinary Time. There are no major feasts or memorials today.
π Readings and Gospel for Today:
First Reading: Genesis 15:1-12, 17-18
Gospel: Matthew 7:15-20
π¨ Liturgical Color: Green (Ordinary Time)
βοΈ Reflection: Today, the Church invites us to reflect on recognizing and avoiding false prophets. Jesus warns us about those who use His name to deceive, teaching us that "by their fruits, you will know them." This reminds us of the importance of living a sincere and steadfast faith in our daily lives.

πΏ CORPUS CHRISTI β FEELING GOD'S MERCY WITHIN US πΏ
Today, we celebrate Corpus Christi β a time for us to honor the Holy Eucharist, where Jesus is truly present among us, giving life and salvation.
π This is a special occasion to reflect on the immense sacrifice of Jesus, who gave His Body and Blood as food to nourish our souls. This feast is not just a remembrance, but also a call for each of us to live strongly in faith, in love, and in unity with God and our fellow brothers and sisters.
π Prayer:
Lord Jesus,
We thank You for Your Body and Blood, which nourish our souls.
Help us to understand the Holy Eucharist more deeply, so that through it, we may live fully in love and unity with You and the community.
Lord, grant us love, peace, and strength to fulfill Your will in our daily lives.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
π Wishing everyone a day filled with God's grace and peace!

A Prayer for Peace and Safety
Lord, Creator of peace, we come before You with hearts full of prayer. We ask You to bless, strengthen, and bring peace to all those who are suffering, living in fear and war. Please soothe the pain, heal the broken hearts, and bring tranquility to those who live under skies filled with tension and violence.
Lord, grant us the strength to persevere in faith, even in the face of trials. Protect the innocent, shield them from violence and destruction, so they may live in peace and hope.
We offer these prayers to You, praying that one day soon, all nations will find reconciliation, love, and compassion. Guide the worldβs leaders to walk the path of peace, love, and justice.
We ask all of this in the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
