One thing I love is breaking away from the usual holiday hotspots and touristy places and heading up into the hills to see the real countries that I visit

You can't beat just driving up away from the beaches and into the villages and finding out what countries are really truly like

I'm sick of the grim weather in the UK now and waking up to rainy day after rainy day. It's killing me to not be able to get out and film much.

I"m editing a few videos that I filmed a month or two ago and seeing blue skies, sunshine, warmth and joy and I'm getting that itch to jump on a plane and fly off somewhere warmer to film

I've got a few things to do here in England first though so can't go just yet and it's driving me crazy 🤪

In the next few weeks I'm going to be putting some videos up of places I've never been before.

As a YouTuber it's always a worry because 90% of the time if you put a new place up nobody watches it and everyone just seems to want me to film the same places over and over and over which is ok but I need to branch out and try new things otherwise I'll go mad

So I'm going to upload these new places and put them out and see what happens

Will people watch them?

That's the cliffhanger question!

Just found out the sad news that YouTuber Adam The Woo has passed

Such sad news

I have watched Adam’s videos for years (as have millions of others) and subscribed to both his main channels

Really really sad news

Today I'm going to download a load of Adam's videos for the flight back to the UK and watch them and remember him

I first heard of ‪@TenerifeFirstExcursions‬ from watching ‪@TheMacMaster‬ YouTube channel where the Macmaster would go out on excursions around the island of Tenerife - sometimes with Dan who owns the company

Ever since then Tenerife First Excursions has become the excursions company of choice for every YouTuber that films here

I’ve been out on an excursion with Tenerife First before, heading out to see to see the whales and dolphins (was AMAZING!)

Anyway - this time around my partner Rebecca is with me and has only gone and booked the paragliding off a mountain excursion for us both 😮😮😮

I am going to definitely film it for you to see but basically it’s jumping off a mountain and paragliding down to the beach

I’ve seen The Macmaster do it and always said there is no WAY I’d ever do it

But doing it I am - thanks to Rebecca

To be fair to her she also wanted to book a boat trip out to see to see the whales as she hasn’t done that yet

So two excursions booked with Tenerife First - one of them a relaxing boat trip and the other a terror inducing leap off a mountain strapped to a stranger 🤣🤣🤣🤣
