Christopher’s journey in music began at the age of 11. The next 4 years, he honed his skills performing with various bands. Along the way, he found inspiration in his father’s old acoustic guitar, which sparked a passion for songwriting. At 16, he joined Jane St.Clair, a Barenaked Ladies tribute band. On weekends when Jane St. Clair wasn’t playing, he kept busy with another project—CC&R, a dynamic three-piece band featuring himself, Chad Oulds, and Rick VanRycheghem.
These days, Chris is fully immersed in his solo career, dedicating his time to songwriting and live performances.
His musical roots range from the country and bluegrass influences instilled by his father, a well-known pedal steel guitarist, to the alternative rock and pop vibes of his tribute band days. His original songs infuse fresh energy into the rock and folk genres, offering a glimpse into the exciting direction his music is headed.
