I have been working through this album, from the living it, to writing it, to re-writing it, to recording it, to now putting it out into the world, for the last 2 years. I have gone through so much in that time, I feel as though I have lived a thousand lifetimes but in doing so I have conquered so much; lonliness, anxiety, depression, fear, grief, broken bones and broken hearts, figuring out impossible bridges (both the song and theoretical kind), finding my purpose, fighting my pride, taming but also listening to the voices inside, self-pity, self-doubt, and discovering what life is really about.
The Poets Town is what I call my world. The city in my pysche. The place I go to write songs, dance alone in my room, and pretending at 2 am that I’m being interviewed on a late-night show about “what inspired my #1 Hit Songs?”. It’s a place I go when I’m overjoyed and overwhelmed, when I’m sad and when I’m glad. The poets town, a corner of my mind. It’s where I find the lyrics, its where I find the rhymes. It’s a place for solitude and dreaming of love and figuring out all of this teenager stuff. The kind of place you learn lessons like wherever you go… there you are. It’s my church roof and my home, it’s where I’m me and it truly is free therapy.
I have never let anyone into the city limits until now. So… I want to say Welcome to The Poets Town, Population 1, take in the sounds and sights, the love and light. You’re free to dance and cry and question why. Believe me I’ve done it all here before so nothing is off limits. I hope you love this place as much as I do and enjoy your stay in… The Poets Town.

today I woke up and saw that we have reached a big first milestone of 100 subscribers! I know that 100 people isn’t THAT many but… I am so thankful for every single one of you that has liked any of my videos, commented any positive comment, and subscribed. I am so thankful I have an outlet to share my music and so thankful you like it. Can’t wait to continue to put out original songs, covers, and hopefully sooner then later release some music for everyone who wants to listen.
