“Pikkaan!” is the infectious ending theme heard in the current Pokémon anime, Pokémon Horizons.

The track is crafted by Giga and TeddyLoid, two producers who are frequent collaborators and behind some of the biggest hits across J-pop, EDM, and vocaloid music. What surprised music listeners—and one artist in particular—was the prominent inclusion of a sample crafted by Canadian producer, vocalist, and songwriter Petal Supply.
