This channel documents my journey of converting a minivan into a camper. I hope my designs and build tips inspire you to create your own home on wheels and explore the world.

A lot of people have been asking me for links to the products and gear I used while building my Toyota Sienna minivan camper — so I finally put everything together into one organized spreadsheet. 🚐🔧

I split the build into different modules (electrical, kitchen, bed system, ventilation, camping gear, etc.) and added links to the products I used from Amazon USA.

You can check it out here:

Hopefully this saves you some research time and helps with your own camper build ideas!

Note:
The links are affiliate links. You don’t pay anything extra, but Amazon gives me a small commission that helps support the channel and future campervan videos. Thanks to everyone who supports SolarVanQuest! ☀️🐾

I originally thought upgrading from a cooler to a fridge/freezer in my minivan camper would just make food storage easier… but it completely changed how I use the van 😄

The fridge area slowly became a full multi-purpose zone:

- fridge/freezer
- fold-out prep table
- quick snack station during road trips

And honestly? Not dealing with melted ice every day feels amazing.

- No soggy food.
- No cooler water leaks.
- No daily “ice management” 😂

The biggest surprise was how much more organized the van started feeling once everything had a dedicated place.

I ended up designing the whole module around daily use instead of treating the fridge like just another camping item.

I’ve seen a few comments saying that a sink in a minivan camper - especially a deeper one like mine - is a waste of space.

Honestly… I don’t see it that way at all.

Here’s why it works for me:

I use the sink as storage while driving - perfect for things that might leak (olive oil, sauces, etc.), all tucked into a collapsible tote
My clean and grey water tanks fit right under it with zero wasted space - they stay secure, and I can easily take the clean water out to use at a picnic table
And of course… it’s not just for dishes. I use it to rinse hands, wash Toby’s paws after a walk, or even rinse off after a swim in the ocean

For me, it’s about using space smart, not just saving space.

With the right design, you can still have some “home” convenience on the road.

What do you think - worth it or not in a small build?
