Damaris is doing much better. She can go back to the coop as soon as it’s a bit warmer. It’s been getting in single digits at night and I’d rather be safe than sorry.
Thank you for all your prayers. We have a Hawk issue and he’s not going away. ☹️

Hawk attacked Esther too, but she fought back and got away. She’s such a scrapper. She’s recovering from minimal injuries, and will be able to return to the coop with Damaris.

Damaris Update: She seems to be improving, however she is still not eating and she’s barely drinking. She is opening her bad eye and seems to be able to see from it. She is moving around a bit more, but still not acting normal. She definitely could use more prayers and so could I, because I’m exhausted physically, mentally and emotionally.

✝️🌟Reflections on the Birth, Death and Resurrection of Christ, as well as His very Hopeful Second Coming, during this Season of Advent. 🌟✝️
⁉️Did you know that the Bible Predicts Jesus' Birth and Death 11 Times in the Old Testament!?⁉️
“You may say to yourselves, ‘How can we know when a message has not been spoken by the Lord?’ If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the Lord does not take place or come true, that is a message the Lord has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously, so do not be alarmed” (Deuteronomy 18:21-22).
Isaiah 7:14 (Regarding Jesus Birth)
“Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.”
This Scripture points to the manner in which he will be born, and also to one of the names given to Christ: Immanuel, meaning “God with us.” This was pointing to both His human birth and His divine nature. This was written over 700 years before Christ was born.
Micah 5:2 (Regarding Where Jesus Would Be Born)
“But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times.”
We know Jesus was born in Bethlehem and this Scripture tells us in advance the place Jesus would be born. This prophecy was written by Micah approximately 800 years before Christ was born.
Isaiah 53:5 (Regarding Jesus Death)
“But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.”
✝️❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🩷✝️
These prophecies all written in the Bible Old Testament have came to pass, then surely the ones that were written in the New Testament will eventually come to pass as well.
“For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished” (Matthew 5:18).
“Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away” (Matthew 24:35).
So as we prepare for the Christmas season and celebrate the Birth of Our Savior Jesus Christ, we can look to these scriptures as HOPE for our Eternity with Jesus and prepare ourselves for His Second Coming.

I’m sure that you have heard the term Advent, but what is it? ✝️❤️
The Advent season is a four-week period in the Christian calendar that prepares people for Jesus Christ’s birth at Christmas, while also pointing ahead to his promised return. Each Sunday of the season traditionally spotlights a key theme—like hope, peace, joy, or love—to invite reflection, prayer, and expectant celebration.
Although the selection and arrangement of themes can vary, these are some themes commonly explored during Advent.
Week 1: Hope
Week 2: Peace
Week 3: Joy
Week 4: Love
This guide is intended to help you meditate on each of these themes so that you might deepen your understanding of Advent and experience the season in a new way. You’ll also find an Advent calendar in this article (I did not write it,) with daily reflections that begin on the first Sunday of Advent.

Sneak peek of our coop addition and the progress throughout the years. We’ve come a long way. I remember when I first prayed for this coop. I remember crying in the garage next to the pieces and walls, wondering how I’d ever get them out to the backyard and together.

I prayed through all of it. I remember asking God to drop a new coop out of the sky into the yard. 😂 He kind of did!

God sent the affordable and free building materials. He sent help for the brawn that I couldn’t do. But best of all God showed me what to do. Everything that I learned, I still know. If He would have dropped a coop in the yard, I would not have learned a thing. Now I know how to build more. I just need God to send me help. He always does. 🥰❤️🙌✝️

Matthew 19:26
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

This coop is living proof of that! 🥰❤️
