✨ Henriot Brut Souverain is LIVE on the channel! ✨
If you’ve ever stared at the Champagne shelf like it was a multiple-choice test you did not study for… good news: I studied for you.
And the new video is officially uploaded and waiting—like an eager little bubble ready to pop.
🥂 We’re talking:
• Instant depth thanks to those 30–50% reserve wines
• Royal approval (yes, the Habsburgs had taste)
• Reims chalk + finesse
• Why “élaboré par” = put this one in your cart immediately
Plus: food pairings that won’t embarrass you in front of your sommelier friends.
(Oysters: yes. Cheeseburgers: maybe not.)
If you want a Champagne that’s bright, vibrant, elegant—and doesn’t require you selling a kidney—this is your bottle.
Grab a glass, hit play, and let’s sip our way through another episode of Sip Me Maybe.

Sip Me Maybe
✨ After a brief break, Sip Me Maybe is back—my new episode premieres early Friday morning!
I’ve stretched, I’ve sipped, I’ve probably reorganized my wine fridge for “clarity”… and now I’m popping back with a brand-new pour. 🍾
And did you know Champagne is sealed with the same kind of metal cap as a soda?
If you’re confused and shaking your head—good. Watch this Friday’s episode and I’ll explain. 🥂
This week’s episode:
“Champagne: How It’s Made – From Soil to Sparkle | Grand Cru vs Premier Cru Explained.”
Ever wondered why some Champagne costs as much as your rent? Or why you’re not supposed to swirl it like a moody Pinot Noir?
I’m breaking down Champagne’s secret social ladder (yes, even vineyards have status issues), the fancy-sounding méthode champenoise—aka “the reason your bubbles exist”—and that magical wooden thing called a Coquard press that gently squishes grapes without ruining their feelings.
It’s classy education with zero snobbery—just sparkle, sass, and stories from the chalky depths of France.
Sip, laugh, learn… and maybe finally figure out what Brut actually means.
✨ Sip wisely… and I’ll see you next pour.

NEW EPISODE DROP: Champagne – A Legacy in Every Bubble (Part 1)
💥 Exploding bottles. English glass. A widow with a drill.
No, it’s not a period drama—it’s the real origin story of Champagne.
In the 1600s, bubbles weren’t luxury—they were liability. Bottles blew up like popcorn, monks wore iron masks, and cellar workers dodged flying glass.
Then came the revolution:
Christopher Merrett’s 1662 discovery — the science of sparkle.
Dom Pérignon — the monk who mastered the blend.
Madame Clicquot — the widow who drilled holes in her dining table and invented riddling.
Louis XV’s 1728 law — the decree that uncorked a global empire.
Ruinart, Moët & Chandon, and Reims — where chaos turned chic.
This is the true story of how Champagne went from cellar grenades to royal courts—through innovation, risk, and a little rebellion.
🍾 Featuring: Veuve Clicquot, Dom Pérignon, Moët & Chandon, Ruinart, Louis Roederer (Cristal), Bollinger, Krug, Laurent-Perrier, Taittinger, Pol Roger, Perrier-Jouët, and the quiet rise of Grower Champagne.
🎧 Watch now and see how elegance was engineered under pressure.

This bottle kicks off my Whole Foods Wine Series: I picked up Piper-Heidsieck Cuvée Brut for $48.99 and its cousin Charles Heidsieck Brut for $65.49 at my local Whole Foods. The other two bottles you’ll see in the episode are Millésimé collector’s items—rare, pricey, and a lucky find if you can even secure them in the U.S.
The point? For about $55, you can taste a wine that, while not the exact Millésimé, still lives in the same maison neighborhood—and it’s a damn good pour. Not oak-heavy. Not piercingly sharp. Just that right, neutral sip that doesn’t demand the spotlight but quietly elevates the moment.
Because sometimes all you need is a quiet hero in the glass to make an evening unforgettable. 🥂

🍾 Just like Champagne itself—this episode is full of contradictions.
An expensive bottle won’t automatically give you that old money glow (sorry, Dom Pérignon flexers). My choice here was deliberate: my friend’s favorite Champagne, gifted as a birthday surprise.
Want a real old-money move? Skip the flashy labels. Value is the ultimate flex. Use my table from the video to navigate the racks…
✨ Share in the comments what actually lights up your palate—it’s different for everyone.
Sure, Krug, Salon, or a Charles Heidsieck vintage might be a little “over the top” for most parties. But the Charles Heidsieck NV Brut Réserve? You’ll find it at Whole Foods for around $70—classy, crowd-pleasing, and perfect for popping in good company.
And if it’s a special occasion? Splurge away. Because sometimes, the right bottle is the one that makes the moment unforgettable. 🥂
