I am not alone!
I realized that I’ve shared my dad with the world my entire life. When we were young, children flocked to our house and clung to the fatherly love that they received from my Dad. My Dad was a rec center legend and well known for his volunteering at the boys and girls club and the YMCA. As spoiled as I was, now that I look back on it, I’m shocked that I was never jealous. It was more like an honor, my Dad was a superhero in my eyes and it was more of an honor to share him. I guess Dad was like that limited edition Special Barbie and I had it and everyone wanted one so I shared it with my neighborhood and others when needed. He wasn’t a perfect man but he was mine. Last night I realized that I shared him with the world until he went Home. I am glad that some of you actually got to meet him in person. A lot of you followed our journey together for many reasons. And now we are here in this moment and my subscribers will now be a part of the memories I have of my Dad and he will also be a part of your memories. VENI VIDI VICI
