Hanging above our volunteers’s head, these clothes are sharing a powerful message.
These clothes represent the person who bought them and put them in their closet. This bedroom, the walls, and the whole house, just a few weeks ago, was a place that someone called home.

When we enter into a hurting community after a disaster, like this flood, we aren’t just sorting belongings or removing soiled content. We’re standing with the hurting people whose lives have turned upside down overnight - are having to reflect and say goodbye to cherished belongings that have memories attached to them, and help them prepare their home for the next steps of recovery. We’re bearing Christ’s light in the darkness.

BREAKING: Our Mass Feeding and Rapid Response Heavy teams are deploying to Salina, KS, to serve families following the severe storm on June 8.
We are humbled to provide hot meals to those without electricity and bring skilled heavy equipment operators to remove large fallen debris for families that were impacted by the 100+ mph winds and hail damage.

As we speak, our teams are en route to this community and will begin serving Thursday, June 11.
Very soon, we will share our feeding location, times we will serve meals, and more. Stay tuned!

Mississippi strong! After spending all day in multiple communities that were devastated by the storms on May 6, we have seen hundreds of locals, churches, and law enforcement work together to love and serve their neighbors. This is what community is all about.

Today, we are humbled to announce that God has opened a door for our Mass Feeding team to serve the Brookhaven, MS, community following the recent tornadoes. Over the next week, a small team of volunteers will be providing free warm meals to families, law enforcement, and local volunteers in the area.

Though there is not a large need for volunteers right now, we still need your help to support this outreach!
1. Pray for those who have lost so much and for those on the ground to walk alongside them.
