Hello everybody! I don't have much more time to make videos anymore, so they'll be far and few between--as well as completely different...maybe.

Paul Mann IV

Okay, so since this got an equal amount of votes at the time of writing and I don't want this to sound like a completely incoherent rant (so no video, here's hoping this post suffices), I'm gonna discuss my opinions on the Hogwarts Legacy hate here. I'll upload the Forest Maze cover later this week.

Prerequisite: I've been harshly judged for playing video games and liking some properties in my youth, been bullied for my skin color, lack of wealth, homosexuality (only partly true), etc., for playing Mario, Team Fortress 2, watching Powerpuff Girls, etc. I see people as people, generally doesn't matter what you are so long as you don't go around killing others or animals.

Look, I get not wanting to support somebody for their viewpoints, been there and done that on both sides. Having said that, that's no excuse for the behavior I've witnessed online. There's no reason you should be going on somebody's livestream and harassing/doxxing them over what SOMEBODY ELSE said, even if it isn't what they actually said. If you're going to be against giving Rowling royalties, you should be boycotting Lego, Nintendo, and Universal since she gets MUCH more money from them. Really look into Universal ticket sales and how much in royalties she gets. Really look at the Lego sets and games. Really look at the Nintendo contracts--Pokemon and the new Mario sports games were enough for me to never buy anything Nintendo again until they visit a proctologist. There's nothing wrong with boycotting and standing for your beliefs, but when it turns into shaming and hurting other people to the point of them crying on stream (Silvervale), I have a problem with that, especially me being bullied in my past.

That's just one problem. It's come to my attention individuals have an issue with a trans character in the game: Sirona Ryan. Why? Her name is too masculine. Ya know, because Sirona, a Celtic GODDESS, is VERY manly, am I right? Complete spit in the face, no research, no representation, nope. Not at all. Absolutely disgraceful. Or worse, "it isn't enough." Give me a break. Amazes me people actually care about representation in a video game when they're playing in a world of fiction where you cast magic. Wizards don't exist in real life. If you actually care about what's seen in the realms of fiction, you have serious issues with your own damn self.

Whoever made the website meant to track whomever has streamed HL, you're mental. This is ammo for anybody and everybody to use to continue actual hate campaigns and it's sad you went as far as to track streamers to avoid while others use it to track streamers to bully.

The part that ultimately hurts me the most is Ali Archer on Twitter literally lying about a transgender cousin committing suicide; coming from somebody whom has made serious attempts in his past, there's no other part of this controversy that makes my blood boil as much as this does. Account's been deleted after basically admitting it was falsified. The less I talk about it, the better--touchy subject for me, suicide.

Is this the fault of the transgender community? No. The community at large is not to blame. I know enough about them to know they're people like us. Why does it matter? Well, this is the fault of a vocal minority whose emotions are as in check as a Mewtwo in NU (sound familiar, BLM?). This is the work of creatures who firmly believe their misery is to be spread to people--likely individuals who will NEVER boycott Lego, Nintendo, nor Universal, therefore incapable of living to their own words, beings who exist to hate and nothing more. They give the transgender community an awful name and are tarnishing the works and standings of good people, people who don't deserve this negative spotlight and actually trans haters (because transphobes would mean a fear of them, not hate) ammo for future encounters. These trans individuals actively participating in this hate campaign are making things worse for everybody--not just streamers, not just the game developers, not just regular people, not even just Twitter users--everyone. There's a reason I refuse to even acknowledge them as people; unlike the rest of the community that's proven to be much more level-headed, balanced, and overall good at heart, this minority never earned the right to be called "people".

You want a game to hate on? I can give you three.

1. Omega Labyrinth Z. Why? Underage sex. Gross is an understatement.

2. Rapelay. Enough said.

3. Custer's Revenge. Yeah I know this got backlash by just about everybody, but I don't think it gets the negative attention it deserves anymore. You literally play as a mostly naked General Custer as a Cowboy raping a Native American girl (at the time, called Indian Girl, take that as you will) against a cactus while avoiding spears and steam. Yeah it was Atari 2600 and it was made before I was born, but that's a game that was made to be incredibly shocking and offensive...and the game plays like ass. It's offensive to White People, it's offensive to Native Americans (which many tribes have a multi-gender system, keep in mind), it's offensive to anybody who plays the game. What does Hogwarts Legacy do? You study in Hogwarts, fight trolls, fly around on a broomstick, and talk to people. Is that the same fucking ballpark nowadays? Or do people really not give a rat's ass about the game and only want an excuse to further misconstrue what an individual says?

I won't sit here and fully defend Rowling for one reason: She's an asshole. You'd think making Dumbledore gay would've caused people to turn their heads more (personally I was fine with that, though that might be because I'm not that into the franchise, but know enough to know it could've been interpreted either way), but I guess nobody sat there to think about her as a person even then. She's clearly unhinged and the signs have been there for years before the infamous Tweet. That won't stop me from occasionally going to Universal (which I don't pay for my tickets, so what money is she making off of me?) and riding that Hagrid coaster cause that coaster is a damn good coaster. Also, RIP Robbie Coltrane. You didn't deserve the hate you got.

So yeah. If you're one of the minority spreading your hatred more than a streetcorner hoe spreads her legs, you're the problem and you're hurting your own community through your own hatred. I truly hope one day people will call you out directly for acting out of line en masse so you can realize just how badly you're fucking everybody up, not just yourself and the person you chose to dox.

Just a heads up for the four people that read my statuses, I'm starting a job next Monday. Decent enough pay to where I'll be able to sustain myself fairly easily, plus my wife if anything happens to her career (stable so far!).

Still, I have a couple videos I'd like to get finished in the meantime. Which would you like to see most?

Keep in mind, I have strong opinions with the last two.

I have some videos I can either upload or are close to uploading. Which would you want more?

I have something in the works for 2k subscribers, but I’m also going through something serious in my private life. Will upload when completed.

Sorry for the lack of videos lately. Again.

So if I had to be honest, I’ve been having a more difficult time uploading anything to YouTube—not because I don’t have videos, I have a few I need to edit right now, but because of the current climate. I’ve grown disgusted with this site and how Google thinks they can cherry pick people out due to their beliefs.

On another note, I’m five dollars away from getting paid 100 from this site, so maybe I might have to bite the bullet and upload something? I don’t know. On the off chance any of you are reading, what do you think?

Apologies for the lack of uploads after Dagothwave, I’m currently working on a significant project for uploading. If you wish to track my occasional progress, I’m posting here and there on the FamiTracker Discord server. I’m 73/103 covers in right now and with the isolation seeming to only get longer, I guess I’ll have no choice but to continue, ey?

Good luck to everyone out there in these dire times. I’ll see y’all in a couple weeks.
