Story blurb for those interested:
Richard Doles (brown haired human) is the only human in a government run by Anima, "evolved" versions of their original counterparts. Though he begins his story with a military squadron of his own, a figure from his past appears, and changes the course of his life.
Nora Leopold (black haired Maoyan) is an Anima fighting for human rights. She eventually finds and confronts her longtime friend, and a relationship grows. But he has direct ties to a military organization dedicated to hunting her, and her family, down. Despite his change of heart, it won't be so easy to convince his squadron.
Pasts collide.
Richard tries to keep the peace between both halves of his life.
Nora calls for an ambulance, but not for herself.
