Hello friends! I'm very excited to share info about my next Graphic Novel, HALFBLOOD, coming soon to Kickstarter!

Here's the synopsis:

"Do you believe in fate?” asks Senjuro, The Black Demon, to all those who cross his path. Victim or guide.

A masterless, mixed-race samurai, Senjuro skulks through the shadows of an evolving feudal Japan, seeking to serve...but the age of the Samurai flickers on the winds of modernization, and any work to be had is less than honorable. That is until Claire, a wealthy British explorer and anthropologist, swings through the tavern doors seeking aid from the man whose reputation precedes him; the one they call The Black Demon. Her family has just been monstrously slain and exsanguinated, and signs point to perpetrators beyond human. Along with Claire and her Sikh companion Jangveer, Senjuro the Black Demon must face hell on earth to deliver their reckoning, and in the process, find the honor he so desperately seeks."

Very excited that this is finally coming soon-- I finished art on the book at the very end of 2024, and I can't wait to get it into everyone's hands!

Hello friends! As of this post, my channel is sitting at just over 9,900 subscribers! That's really incredible, and I want to thank you all so much for riding with me on this journey.

To celebrate, I'm going to be customizing something to give away on the channel after it hits 10K. The current plan is:

-To make a video of the customization itself, where I will announce the (very simple) rules for the giveaway.

Hey Friends! I know my channel has been quieter than usual over the last month-- Work, a comic convention, and a new joint venture have been taking up a lot of my time. BUT! Things have evened out and I'm planning to finally do an updated collection tour in the next week or so.

ALSO! The new venture I just mentioned is the formation of an artist co-op with some of my close friends who are also professional comic book artists. Together we launched El Camino Art, a collective that we're going to use to showcase our work, interact with readers, and build community around. With that, we're going to be doing live streams 1-2x per month, and we're going to start them here on my channel. These will mostly be about comics, but this could also be a pilot program of sorts for me to test the waters on how easily I can incorporate doing a monthly live stream about figures, customs, and all the other stuff that this channel is about.

All this is to say that tonight we're going to be doing a test run of our El Camino live stream if anyone would like to come watch and hang out with us in the chat. It's going to start at 7pm (Pacific Standard US time). Hope to see some of you there!
