Here’s the good news:
Drift is not destiny.
Your sexual past does not define you.
Your broken home does not disqualify you.
Your compromises do not cancel you.
Harm may begin internally.
But so does healing.
When Jesus restores your heart,
your life follows.
You are not stuck.
You are not too far gone.
You are not permanently stained.
The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead
can soften what has hardened.
If you’ve been feeling distant, this is your invitation back.
Not to shame.
To freedom.
If this series resonated, comment “renew.”

You can look stable.
Functional.
Successful.
And still be slowly hardening.
Cynicism doesn’t appear overnight.
Numbness doesn’t either.
It forms internally first.
Before the visible fallout, there’s usually an invisible shift:
• Less conviction
• Less prayer
• More compromise
• More rationalizing
Culture tells us if it’s consensual and private, it’s harmless.
But Scripture warns us: the heart shapes the life.
If you don’t like the fruit, check the root.
Where have you felt yourself becoming more guarded or numb lately?
Be honest — with yourself first.
Part 3 is about hope. Don’t miss it.

Harm doesn’t always look like destruction.
Sometimes it looks like drift.
We tend to define “damage” by what explodes outwardly — addiction, broken relationships, public failure.
But most harm begins internally.
It starts with what we normalize.
What we excuse.
What we quietly entertain.
You don’t wake up one day far from God.
You slowly grow numb.
And numbness feels safe… until you realize you’ve lost tenderness.
This isn’t condemnation.
It’s invitation.
Where in your life have you said, “It’s not that serious,”
but something inside you feels different?
Part 2 goes deeper.

The Great Commission (Matthew 28:19) wasn’t exclusive to gender or marital status.
You have:
• A calling
• A mission
• Spiritual authority
• Kingdom purpose
Singleness is not a delay.
It’s a season of formation.
Stop preparing for marriage more than you prepare for ministry.

Verses I highlighted and underlined last week during my time devoted to hear and learn from God.
I just finished the book of Joshua and started reading Deuteronomy, and one of the biggest takeaways is that God will fulfill every promise that He makes. He’s a faithful God that blesses His children, even when they don’t deserve it at times. He’s holy, merciful, powerful, just, and loving. He already chose us through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ that redeemed us from our sins and shame. Now He’s waiting for us to choose Him as our Father, Savior, Lord, and God.
I would love to hear your thoughts on these verses. God bless 🫶🏽
