ERO Reviews Document Verification Status

Sh. Amandeep Singh Bhatti, PCS, Addl. Deputy Commissioner-cum-Electoral Registration Officer, U.T. Chandigarh, reviewed the status of document verification under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR).

The verification process was also inspected to ensure timely, accurate and transparent verification. Necessary directions were issued to expedite the process and ensure compliance with the prescribed guidelines.

Electoral Awareness & Voter Registration Camp

The Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, U.T. Chandigarh, in collaboration with ELC, Dev Samaj College for Women, Sector 45 & AERO-10, organised an awareness camp for prospective first-time voters.

Prof. (Dr.) Neeru Malik, Principal, motivated students and highlighted the importance of Special Intensive Revision (SIR) and active participation in democracy.

Students were sensitised about ECINET, Voter Helpline 1950, Book a Call Request with BLO, voter registration and searching names in the previous SIR Electoral Roll.
