1) I have reuploaded a video from 2021 titled '"the f in woman stands for funny" hardy har har' because I butchered it in youtube's video editor to the point there were bizarre cuts that removed context and about 4+ minutes of content. Good news though: the cow managed to find the original on the internet archive. It's a cute throwback from my old commentary days (and my mullet days) so I figured "why not repost for those who like the cow's older stuff?" Enjoy.
2) A new video is on its way. Do not fret, my pretties. Apologies that I'm so much slower with the uploads nowadays. As I've moved from commentary to video-essay/think piece-style videos, I've wanted to take as much time as I can to research, write & factcheck thoroughly so that I make videos that are entertaining & informative and not spreading misinformation. I don't always get it right, but I find that giving myself time is more conducive with delivering quality content. Quality over quantity, baby!
3) I have removed sponsor reads from a bunch of old videos to improve viewer experience (some companies allow you to do so after a certain amount of time). I am hoping to move away from sponsors eventually, but with this in mind: I will be relying slightly more on ads. Apologies, I know ads are annoying - if you really can't stand them I won't be offended if you skip them all - I'd much rather get the views without ads than no views at all.
4) I'm a little nervous to share this but I want to be more human and honest with you all. I'm doing very well right now - 2025 is being very kind to me. However, up until last year, I had been through the most difficult couple of years of my life. Late 2022- early 2024 compounded of the most traumatic events of my life so I withdrew from everything - including Youtube.
You might have noticed a period where I posted shorter videos that felt rushed & passionless - that's because they were. I like to call this "The Cow's Dark Age" or "Tara Mooknee's Flop Era". I was holding on by a thread and just needed to post to pay rent. I'm not proud of this to be honest. I hated the feeling of posting half-baked stuff - it felt like a slap in the face to people who support me and enable me to have this job that's such a privilege. I even got comments from some of you asking if I was okay and I thought "damn they're astute 😂".
Basically: thank you for sticking around and being patient with me. Thank you for continuing your support even when I post some flops. Now that I'm in a much better place, I have fallen back in love with YouTube and am so excited to dive into topics I'm passionate about and give them the time & labour they deserve - and you deserve to see as the audience who supports me. Oh and me finally being medicated for my ADHD should also help 😂

We went from Khan Younis to Nuseirat (middle of the strip) to now walking to the north of Gaza city."
