Exploring Intelligent behavior in theory, practice, computers, and neuroscience.
Greetings, intelligent creature! I'm Chris, a software developer and failed biology teacher. My passion is diving into the mysteries of intelligent behavior. I spend a lot of time thinking about how our minds work, then checking my ideas against the latest neuroscience and computer algorithms. I also work to improve my autonomous robot (based on the Raspberry Pi single-board computer.) I made this channel in case others might also be interested that kind of thing.
Most importantly, I practice using my brain better each day. I don't believe there are problems in our lives, our community, or our world that will be solved by thinking poorly.
Please care for yourself, and make good decisions.

I published this video exactly one year ago, today (April 20th, 2024) I have been rewatching to see if I can learn anything and you know what? The production quality may not be the best, but I think content-wise this one was solid. No ragrets!

Today is the 1-year anniversary of the Behavioral Logic channel! February 19th, 2024 I published a video about the advantages of being smart. To celebrate this milestone, I rewatched it. It's a bit unfocused (literally and figuratively) and emotionally flat but not terrible. For a first attempt, I am happy with it.

My video claiming emotions aren't real reminds me of this video about reptiles. I was taught that reptiles were snakes, lizards, turtles, and crocodilians. But we now know that we can't group those without also including birds. In a similar way, I see no logical way to group fear and sadness without also including things that are not typically considered to be emotions such as hunger, fatigue, and sexual arousal.
Whatever you think about my hot take on emotions, you should watch Clint's Reptiles. It is a bounty of wholesome science content.
