POV: An old Yu-Gi-Oh player came to locals for the first time in 20 years tonight (playing his Skull Servant deck) and this was his opponent in the first round. Elfnote Kewl Tune drawing 18 cards off Hyper Librarian, as well. Modern Yu-Gi-Oh at its finest. 😅

Funny story about our old Rare Hunters video series. We actually bought the real, old school Yu-Gi-Oh boxes for the series and they were VERY expensive. And for the very first episode, we found out the LOB box I'd paid over $2,000 for was actually scaled and repacked. Every single pack had ONLY rares, no foils whatsoever. So we had to buy another box and re-record the entire first episode. Most money I've ever lost on Yu-Gi-Oh, too... It's actually hilariously painful to even think back to this experience, but at least the series ended up being fun and very successful, so I guess the financial pain was worth it... or something. 😭

We got an early look at the upcoming Naruto Card Game at Gen Con this weekend. It's really fun and plays a lot like a mix of Yu-Gi-Oh and One Piece TCG. It's fast and strategic. People are HYPE for this game, too! We got to chat about it with a bunch of other creators and everyone seemed to love it. We can't wait for the full release in Summer 2027, but until then, we've got a video coming soon with our early impressions and experience. Believe it! Can't thank Bandai enough for inviting us out to the Naruto Creator Room and giving us the opportunity to try the game! 🙏🏾
