PSA for all Yeepers out there

For a little while now, I have been aware of this channel where someone promotes a bunch of websites that give promo codes for in-game currency in games such as Yeeps and animal company. The problem is, these are all fake. There is no such thing as free currency that can be obtained outside of these games. This channel also makes the scams look more believable by having bots/other channels comment positive things about the websites he is promoting. Ima_rainbow made a video about scams like this a few months back, and I just want to bring awareness to this topic.

Don’t be fooled and stay safe out there.

Ok I’m deciding to come back to YouTube after I “quit” for like 2 days because of the age verification crap. So yea I’m starting to feel comfortable with making videos again. But istg if YouTube marks me as a kid and asks for all of my information I am going to crash out.

Bad news… (rant warning)

So everyone knows that YouTube is using a new ai age verification system to “protect” kids and block the accounts of everyone under the age of 18. Unfortunately, it’s the crappiest system ever, and I have no idea why it should exist. They want to get rid of everyone under 18 instead of deleting 18+ content and ads. This won’t solve the problem, this will only make it worse. Additionally, if you watch certain kinds of content, the ai clankers will detect that you are a kid. This is bad, especially for people who watch gaming content.

Also, if you want to verify that you are 18+ you need to input pretty much ALL of your personal information. This includes DRIVERS LICENSE and CREDIT CARD INFORMATION.

If they want to protect the kids, YOUTUBE KIDS IS RIGHT THERE! This problem is probably coming from parents who shove iPads in front of their kids faces instead of actually doing their jobs as parents. YouTube isn’t free babysitting.

What this all means for me is that I might have my channel/videos blocked. This is obviously not good.

I don’t want YouTube to mark me as a kid, and I bet you don’t either. So, until this ai crap is sent to the depths of he🏒🏒 where it came from, I’m going to be quitting YouTube (temporarily, hopefully) and I highly recommend all fellow content creators do the same thing. I can’t wait until this crappy system blows up in their face. This might ruin yt’s reputation for a while, and I’m all for it.

I was going to make a video about the new lab update in Yeeps that came out yesterday, but due to my voice sounding awful lately, and some technical difficulties, I will not be able to post a video about it. Sorry.
