Many of you have reached out asking how you can help after we lost our apartment during the unrest here in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

To be honest, creating a GoFundMe wasn’t even on my mind. I’ve been overwhelmed and just trying to process everything. But after receiving so many messages from you asking for a way to support us, I decided to set one up.

We escaped safely with Jimmy and Blu, but we lost everything in the fire. After much thought, we’ve made the decision to temporarily relocate back to the U.S. so we can rebuild and focus on stability.

Hi family 🤍

I’ve received so many messages asking if I’m safe, and I want to update you directly.

Yes… we were affected by the violence here in Puerto Vallarta. The store beneath our apartment was destroyed while we were inside our home. We had to evacuate quickly through smoke and fire, and it was one of the most frightening moments of my life.

By God’s grace, Jimmy, Blu, and I made it out safely. A nearby restaurant opened their doors and sheltered us for hours while everything unfolded across the street. We watched from a distance as our building burned, and it was heartbreaking.

The National Guard has since come into the area, and we are currently sheltering in place while we wait for more information.

We are safe right now. Shaken, but safe.
