Hearing Jimmy say, "We're home."

I wanted to give everyone a heartfelt update.

First, the good news...

Jimmy and I found a place to call home. ❤️
It's not completely ours yet—we still need to cover the move-in costs before we can officially unlock the door—but for the first time in a long time, we can finally see the finish line.

After everything we've been through over these past months, that alone feels like an answered prayer.

I also wanted to be transparent about something. Earlier this year, so many of you generously donated to help us when our home was set on fire and burned down and everything was destroyed. Those donations helped pay for temporary housing, airfare, and the immediate expenses of getting us back on our feet during an incredibly difficult time. We truly couldn't have made it through without you.

Today we're facing a different hurdle.

Now we need to come up with what it takes to actually move into our new home—things like the security deposit, rent, and the costs that come with starting over which we didn't realize that it would be so much.
