Before September gets here, take a second to look back at August.
You prayed some prayers this month that felt unanswered, and you kept going anyway. You showed up for community, for family, and for each other. None of it was wasted. God was working through all of it.
Walk into September with expectation. He is not finished with you.
Maybe this week did not go the way you hoped. Maybe you are carrying something into the weekend that you wish had been resolved by now.
Here is the mercy in that: God's compassion does not run out, and His mercies are new every single morning. You do not have to hold on to yesterday's failure or yesterday's weariness. Tomorrow is a fresh mercy.
Whatever you need God to renew this weekend, trust that His faithfulness is already there waiting for you.

Whatever kind of week you had, this is the truth to carry into the weekend: God is not far off, and He is not late. He is a very present help, right in the middle of your trouble, not just after it is over.
If you need refuge this weekend, He is already there.
