Happy November! Hopefully you guys are enjoying the audios from the Everett shows, easily my best set in that regard. Thanks again to the AV crew at the theatre. However, it's ironic after years of hearing complaints about the audio (many thinking this is "Haley's channel") , I finally get awesome audio and the Youtube algorithm has pummeled the views on my channel. (It's happening to a lot of channels due to Youtube's tweaking of the algorithm, favoring shorts).

Honestly it's kind of a bummer my best sounding videos seem to being stifled. The Likes to views ratio is above average for these videos, so people are really liking them, so it's down to exposure, unfortunately.

Anyways, don't forget to use one of your 3 "Hypes" per week to hopefully push these videos to more viewers, and hopefully the Youtube algorithm will be kind and push some views my way.

(PS I hope you're noticing what a difference Haley's performances sound with Casey Abrams playing on Bass....listen to "Oh Damn" again and focus on Casey's bass playing, even during Balam's solo, Casey's not only supporting the solo, he's enhancing it w/ his flourishes)

Hope you're enjoying the Historic Everett Theatre's videos. Full disclosure, the audio is combo of board audio & external mic audio. The board audio I have has Haley very prominent, but the audio for the band is fairly recessed (the file is one recording of all the audios, but there's no way to change the volume of any), So I combined it with one, sometimes two audios from my external mics, balancing out Haley w/ the band, although Haley's vocals are a bit higher from the board audio.

Likely, probably the best set of audios I've ever posted on this channel :D

Thanks again Curt, Jordan and Kim from the HET for helping get this awesome audio. If you're ever in the area, it's a great locally owned theatre and very friendly people working there. I saw surprisingly great sounding band, The D'avinos, who opened for Haley. A 3 piece 60's to 90's cover band. Last Saturday, Jordan let me go into his sound booth and helped me try to trouble shoot my issues recording Sound Audio. At least I know my Zoom is working like it should. It's more complicated than I initially thought.... Anyways, thanks Jordan for the time and information

On this date, 13 years ago, I posted my first YouTube video four days after seeing ‪@haleyreinhart‬ ‪@CaseyBassy‬ perform ‪@carnegiehall‬ with #irvinmayfieldjr, the 4th time I’d seen Haley perform.

Unimaginable at the time I’d be still doing it, 61 million views, 143,000+ Subscribers and over 1000 videos later and having seen Haley recently for the 80th time.

Crazy what having caught the creative passion can accomplish and that’s all thanks to Haley who flipped that switch for me and continues to inspire me 13 years later. Also thanks to all the Haliens who have helped me grow the channel, what a ride! ✌🏻👽

On this date in 2018, my 50th Haley show, Haley’s manager, Jay, scheduled a special show at the Hotel Cafe in LA. An event for the fans featuring @haleyreinhart performing a song from her debut album #ListenUp that was a fan favorite (most tweeted song on twitter) but Haley rarely performed: “Undone”.

Jay had recently given me the opportunity to video Haley performing “Light My Fire” with Robby Krieger at the Troubadour for Haley’s channel, this time he wanted me to video “Undone” for Haley’s channel.

2018 had already been a heck of a year for me at this point, having video’d Haley opening for Steven Tyler at Ribfest & Haley & Casey at Idyllwild, this show would be the capper on one of my best years for videoing ever.

During videoing Haley at this show, my phone notifications started going off, pinging like crazy!! This was the day when both “White Rabbit” at Ribfest & “Time of the Season” went viral. I had to silence notifications.

Originally, Jay only allowed me to video 3 performances, but then he relented & let me video the whole show. Here’s the playlist:

Hope you’re enjoying the new video from the Everett show in Washington State, I already have two videos cue’d up to post in the following weeks, all with that great audio ✌🏻

YouTube has rolled out a new way to support your favorite channels called “Hype”. Everyone gets 3 Hypes a week to apply to new videos which gives points that may elevate videos up the algorithm to give that video more exposure. A NEW video is eligible for Hypes for the first 7 days after it’s been public.

So if you’re so inclined, use one of your hypes on “Moanin’”, I’d like to see how this works, if it really pushes up exposure for the video. It’s a way to help spread the word about Haley & my videos & it won’t cost anything, thanks in advance.

As you may or may not know, ‪@CaseyBassy‬ joined ‪@haleyreinhart‬ for this latest stretch of her tour which means another opportunity to bask in the delight of “Caley” performances. Some of my all time favorite performances I’ve had the fortune to see live were when Haley & Casey performed together, Time of the Season in Idyllwild being the most popular.

Congratulations ‪@mariners‬ clinching the AL West last night. I got to see #CalRaleigh hit homers #59 & #60 yesterday while chants of “MVP! MVP! MVP!” echoed TMobile . Incredible season. Here’s my video of Cal’s 3 hits, the final out & some of the post game celebration. I’m seeing them again in the final game, this time in the outfield with hopes of catching #62???
Cal definitely deserves the MVP Award, not only for his offense, he also does it from behind the plate. No catcher has achieved more #Cal4MVP 🤘🏻
