Phantasmal Flames is finally here. Happy release weekend! Thanks to everyone who joined me on stream to watch me open my first ever packs of the new set, and I'm already so excited about this set!

My videos are going to look a little different for a while. This is because I'm currently working on upgrading my computer after a recent loss of 5+ years of work. For those who may not know, I recently lost a great deal of my work due to my ailing computer bricking itself. It was bound to happen, but unfortunately couldn't make it before I could actually get to upgrading.

This meant quite a number of my templates, programs and files have been lost permanently - from thumbnails and videos, right through to stream setups and all. I'll need time to build things up again and to get things up and running, but with a computer that can withstand the workload and for me to be able to future proof my ongoing work.

So, until then, my long-form videos in particularly will be a bit bare bones than usual, a bit like how I began my channel in 2009 - no editing, no intros, no music - just me, cards and fun.

Thanks for your patience and for sticking with me for over 16 years, or whenever you may have jumped into the PokeCollection mix. Your support means a great deal and I hope to get back to quality uploads, and uploads that are true to form for me. Until then, I hope you can bear with me as I work through things, so skeletal PokeCollection it is for now!

Today I've had to decline a brand partnership due to me unable to edit anything with no laptop or my files. I've never had to do that before so that blows.

I'm currently looking at ways in which I can pivot so that I can still produce content but content that requires minimal editing/mobile use, as there's a bit of content I was keen to have shot in my normal way.

Booster Bites could continue. Long-form not so much, but I am thinking of either Instagram or TikTok live. Maybe even Twitch, just not the usual OBS setup. Very bare bones.

I'm going to need to bide some time. I also need to get my mojo back. I only got it back this year so for this to happen just sucks and I'm not really feeling great.

Such that I'm in bed at 8pm these days. Would much rather hide myself away for a while.

I had just happened across an email I missed from my friends at Nintendo, sent to me right before the weekend of Armageddon Expo!

I caught up with them at the event - where they kindly brought along a lil Pokémon Legends Z-A starter trio figure and Mega Evolution cap for me! I just didn't realise until this weekend that they had also sent me Pokémon Legends: Z-A the game and upcoming DLC aswell until now.

So a big thank you to them! I really appreciate it and never take perks like this for granted, and hope to get stuck into the game soon. I'll also hopefully be back on stream soon too once my laptop ascends from the grave. IYKYK.

NEW VIDEO!

This week has been one heck of a disaster. Kicked it off well with a return to stream (scream) on Halloween, but it quickly went downhill with a really nasty bug and my editing software not complying.

Through some miracle this week, spending it mostly in bed and resting where I could, I managed to quietly edit a few new videos - including this one, featuring MEGA EVOLUTION. This is my first opening involving Mega Evolution, with more to come once I'm feeling 100% again to film, but hope you enjoy in the meantime!

Massive thanks to my friends at Mighty Ape Hobbies for coming through with the goods!

Imagine being a marketer and you can't even market yourself. I've been trying to write updates for weeks. Good one, Asad. 😆

Anyyywaaay... things are heating up! 🔥 Stoked to say that PokeCollection Live returns soon, alongside my usual content - and it all kicks off this weekend! 

Here's a rundown:

✨ I’m back at Armageddon Expo hosting a Pokémon panel with legend and friend, Veronica Taylor! We've also got a few booster packs to open, courtesy of Mighty Ape, so let's see how the multi-tasking goes... 😅 I'll also be at Armageddon ALL weekend, so come and say hey and I may just have a PokeCollection sticker and flyer for you!

Then, on Halloween, I'm returning to Twitch after a long hiatus! 🎃 

And to top it all off, it's finally time to get together for a BIG celebration: Celebrating 16 years of PokeCollection, my birthday, a belated housewarming, and end of year party all in one! 🎉
