You know the saying, “If you have nothing nice to say, just say nothing at all"?
That’s exactly how I feel in the wake of the tragic death of Charlie Kirk. I usually stay out of socio-political debates, but this is about human life, not ideology. He was a husband and a father. His children now face a future without him.
To say “He didn’t deserve to die, but his ideologies brought that on himself” is beyond tone deaf: It’s cruel victim blaming. Seriously, have your ideologies really turned you into that much of a petty and spiteful cynic that you feel the need to comment on someone’s death this way? Turning a tragedy into a socio-political or anti-religious debate, especially following the recent mass shooting at the Minneapolis Church of the Annunciation, is cruel, exploitive and deeply disrespectful to those who are grieving.
This is a time to mourn, reflect, and come together. Put ideologies aside and recognize the humanity of those affected. Exploiting death for political points is a betrayal of basic human decency.
The current re-editing process on my old Supergirl review has been an absolute nuisance recently. First it tells me the audio used from the movie prevents the review to be seen worldwide so I had to put music in the background. Then it still detected the audio so I had to crank up the music. Only then did it finally work but NOW the copyright bots suddenly tell me I'm using video clips from the movie DESPITE them not having any problems with it and now I got to doctor on the movie footage once again.
Seriously I know Youtube gets trigger happy regarding showing footage but it becomes very annoying in this case. I had no problem with the 2nd Edit Version of Superman 3, but apparently Warner Bros REALLY doesn't want my Supergirl review to be on YouTube. Well too bad because I'm going to get it on YouTube whether they like it or not.

All that's left to say for me is:
Rest in Peace Charlie Kirk. 🙏
