Seven months ago both of our homes burned down in the Palisades fires. Since then we’ve both welcomed babies, moved into temporary homes, started the rebuild process, and kept growing our company. Losing everything in a fire is incredibly tough, but one bright spot has been the chance to support other creators who were impacted. Behind the scenes, we’ve been working closely with ‪@YouTube‬ on initiatives to get real, tangible support to creators who lost homes, studios, equipment, and more. YouTube announced a $3 million Fire Relief Fund to provide direct financial grants to creators and creative professionals across Los Angeles who were impacted. If you’re a YouTube creator, or if you work behind the scenes on creator content, and you’ve been affected you can apply at the link below. Getting early support from our own community through GoFundMe made a massive difference in those first few weeks. It reminded us that people were rooting for us, and that we weren’t alone. Hey everyone, Unfortunately both of our homes burned down in the Palisades Fire.

The enormity of the loss is very overwhelming. Both of our wives are pregnant and our primary focus right now is getting back on stable ground. We’ll be pausing uploads for a bit while we figure out what’s next.

It’s a devastating situation for many people across LA right now and fires are continuing to burn.

We’re feeling incredibly fortunate for all of the support that we’re receiving. A special thank you to Dude Perfect for their donation and creation of the GoFundMe. At the end of the day, we’re safe and so are our loved ones and that’s what matters most.
