Happy Makar Sankranti,

Sankranti is a special time for us. It's the harvest festival, a time to give thanks for the bountiful harvest and celebrate with family and friends.


My family always goes all out for Sankranti. We start by cleaning the house and decorating it with colorful rangolis. Then, the cooking begins! My mom and aunts spend hours preparing delicious traditional dishes like Pongal, ladoo, and payasam.

But the highlight of Sankranti is definitely the kite flying! We head to the fields with our families and friends, and the sky fills with colorful kites. It's a truly magical sight.

Later, we visit our relatives and exchange gifts and blessings. It's a time for family bonding and spreading joy.

Sankranti is a reminder of the importance of family, tradition, and gratitude. It's a time to cherish the simple joys of life and celebrate with loved ones.
