Explorations in code, paint, and fibers, guided by the intelligence of materials and the more‑than‑human world. The work unfolds through listening and making, revealing what becomes innately known.
May 12. Metamorphosis moon. Will shine light into places you want to become. The more you create a space inside, the most you will create a space outside of you for this metamorphosis.
May 21 take everything that is beyond you and within you, and turn it all inside out. Like a caterpillar loosing your head, things will fall apart, it’s ok. Consciously remove your awareness from Inside to the outside.
May 22 this is first day that the new butterfly will be drying its wings , crystalline wings charged by the sun. The light of this new consciousness gives wings. Move into a state of surrendered bliss. Possibility.
May 23 -254 Move through imitation and take flight for first time. Dissolved everything you have thought of yourself up Unto this point. Dissolve whatever you thought of yourself and ancestors.
The peaceful evolution of humanity and the infinite possibility of the future. The shadow side is also growing to tear you away, steadfastly orient Yourself to the infinite possibility.
It could peak. So if you find youdf slipping so come bs onto your heart.
“I am a creator of infinite possibility” I and part of the souls creating the timeline of infinite possibility.
No longer the same story. To tell a new story, and build harmony for all.
This weekend, in quiet solitude, something ancient decided to surface. I thought this Sturgeon sculpture was simply a symbol of my own strength and resilience. But as I worked, old grief rose unexpectedly.
Its gentle lyrics—“I built walls out of goodbyes… every road I walked in silence always led me back home… You don’t try to fix the pieces. You just stay.”—felt like the sturgeon speaking directly to me, about the deep, internal home we carry: the forgotten ancient wisdom, the soul awareness that keeps swimming through murky waters.
A fluid watercolor poured out this morning—raw currents of emotion in teal, ochre, rose, and black.
From that, this luminous piece emerged (styled in the language of my own oil paintings): a starry, branching tree-river of light, bioluminescent orbs glowing like inner constellations. (starry ai) using the watercolour as a seed.
The quilter piece is with another style based on the same watercolour but using the style of a set of my Mennonite families vintage photos. I ended that connection to go into the arts and move out west to British Columbia. But those roots still flow through my hands.
In the Fraser River region where I live, white sturgeon carry profound cultural resonance for Stó:lō and other Indigenous peoples—as living fossils, links between past and present, teachers of resilience, transformation, and ancestral knowledge, often appearing in origin stories as transformed beings or spirit helpers.
My sturgeon isn’t romantic or polished; it’s visceral and pieced together, holding both the jagged strength and the tender grief.
This is what emerged when I said no to what drains me and yes to creative space and grant-seeking. The sturgeon reminds me: You are my home.
The home that was never truly lost—the deep soul awareness that integrates the losses, the silences, and the long migrations, and still carries its own light. Thank you for witnessing the process. Art as midwife. Grief as part of the becoming.

Tuning into the sturgeon in the Fraser River on this full‑moon night of ending timelines.
I’m becoming the one who remembers how to survive epochs.
If I start growing scutes and armour, blame the frequency upgrades. 🥹
How is this day moving through you. Instead of thanks to Starry AI

This weekend, in quiet solitude, something ancient decided to surface.
I thought this Sturgeon sculpture was simply a symbol of my own strength and resilience. But as I worked, old grief rose unexpectedly.
Then this song found me: “You Are My Home” by Calum Melodies (listen here: https://youtu.be/En2dj7jx_TY).

This is an old post, but I’m dealing with similar issues at the moment, so it’s comforting to see that it might be relevant now.
