Here's something I've been working on, I call it "Sidekick Swap"
The whole idea is that protagonists swaps with their sidekicks, closest friends That doesn't apply to villains, where in most cases they stay the same (Like Eggman, Bowser, etc)
Sonic the Hedgehog turns into Miles the Fox, Super Mario Bros. Turns into Super Luigi Bros.
Miles the Fox has gameplay similar to Tails' Adventure, where you build robots and such to get through the levels, but still maintaining the fast pace
Mickey Mouse turns into Ducky Donald, SpongeBob turns into Patrick Star, and allat

To differentiate MirrorMode from other Mario Mix AUs, I'm changing things up a bit.
Knuckles now swaps with Wario, Shadow and Silver turns into OCs, and allat.
And also, swap of other franchises that you all were waiting
