As I continue to explore my own past and how and how it relates to who I am today, growing up in poverty truly has had negative psychological effects. It has created a scarcity mindset and the inability to be fiscally responsible. This pattern of behavior compounds the fight or flight scenario and keeps us in a loop cycle, one that we have grown to call home. In my latest video I discuss the psychological effects of growing up poor and what you can do to rewire your brain to help us break the poor mindset.
