1 Thessalonians 4:11 - “Make it your goal to live a quiet life, minding your own business and working with your hands, just as we instructed you before.”
Christians who love others do not stir up trouble. They do not stick their noses in other people's personal matters. Nor do they sit back with folded hands and expect others to provide for them.
1 John 3:17 - “If someone has enough money to live well and sees a brother or sister in need but shows no compassion—how can God’s love be in that person?”
Ephesians 1:13 - "In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise."
Thankful to be sealed by the Holy Spirit today and grateful that I can finally, truly be a son of God. The peace of God is truly a blessing to experience. Thank you Lord for choosing me.
I pray Psalm 37:12-15 over my life:
“The wicked plot against the godly;
they snarl at them in defiance.
But the Lord just laughs,
for he sees their day of judgment coming.
The wicked draw their swords
and string their bows
to kill the poor and the oppressed,
to slaughter those who do right.
But their swords will stab their own hearts,
and their bows will be broken.”
