Embodied Astrology - October 2026 Energy Forecast

Astrology isn’t just something to observe — it’s something to embody.

♎️ Welcome to Libra Season! This month is all about reflection, observing, shining the light, and noticing what comes up without immediately reacting or making decisions about it. We’re being given a chance to really look at who we are, who we want to become, and how we relate to the people around us. We’re calling this The Season of Persephone, as Venus retrograde in Scorpio moves beneath this Libra Sun energy and asks us to go a little deeper. Why do we have the relationship issues we have? Where are these patterns coming from? What are we still carrying?

With six planets in retrograde, there is a lot of energy supporting us in looking backward, reflecting, and beginning to clear emotional attachments connected to old trauma and baggage. We ask some big questions this month: Is this real love, or is it fear of abandonment? What does a healthy relationship actually look like to me? The New Moon in Libra helps us begin envisioning what we want our relationships to look like moving forward and opens the door for healthier conversations, while Pluto has us looking at and redefining power dynamics in our personal lives and within government, groups, and our collective systems. Through it all, second chances become an overarching energy of the season.

As Samhain approaches, we also talk about ancestor altars and connecting with our ancestors, and Dwight gives us a few witchy ideas to play with, including sweetening spells and mirror magic. 🕯️✨

There’s a LOT happening this Libra Season, but we don’t necessarily have to do anything with all of it just yet. For now, observe, reflect, shine the light, and see what becomes visible.

Dragonfly Medicine: The Path to Mastery

What if Dragonfly Medicine isn’t really about transformation at all? The dragonfly spends much of its early life beneath the water before emerging into the air with four extraordinary wings. It becomes a creature capable of moving between two worlds: depth and height, water and air, emotion and perspective. And unlike the butterfly, it doesn’t enter a cocoon and become something entirely different. It develops the ability to move beyond the environment that once contained it. In this video, we explore Dragonfly Medicine through its actual biology, its relationship with water, its wings, vision, hunting ability and ecological role, and ask what those characteristics might teach us spiritually.

Astrology isn’t just something to observe — it’s something to embody. Virgo Season is here, and it’s time to clean up what Leo stirred up. Virgo arrives as the Priest/Priestess and Purifier, helping us sort through what has surfaced, purge what belongs to the old version of ourselves, and create structure around the person we’re becoming. With the Sun and Mercury in Virgo, the focus turns toward mindfulness, self-control, nutrition, health, and bringing the mind and body back into alignment. Venus in Scorpio takes us deeper, teaching us about boundaries, truth, intimacy, and the emotional connections worthy of our energy. Then comes the Full Moon in Pisces, illuminating endings and realizations before the Autumn Equinox, "the Great Equalizer," calls us back toward balance. Beauty and pain, the peacemaker and the judge, this reminds us that harmony doesn’t require us to abandon truth.
