14 دسمبر 1931 کو امروہہ (بھارت) میں پیدا ہوئے۔ ہجرت کے بعد وہ کراچی آ گئے، جہاں انہوں نے زندگی کے آخری دن گزارے۔
2002 میں وہ کراچی میں ہی انتقال کر گئے۔ ان کی قبر سخی حسن قبرستان میں واقع ہے
