Find healing and strength in the journey of separation.
I create videos on marriage/relationship tips, coping with separation and divorce, understanding unhealthy relationship patterns and finances in marriage separation.
What's Good Y'all?! I wanted to come on here to give you guys the real deal. The last week and a little before that I was going through a depression. I didn't want to do anything. I didn't want to film, I didn't want to edit, I didn't want to be a wife or a mom, I just wanted to sit in my bed clothes all day and not even go outside. I needed that time to just sit with me and ask myself some hard questions. Like what did I want my life to look like? Why did I really get into Youtube?
I really just want to tell you that it's okay to be down but you can't stay down. I'm slowly getting better and I am scripting some videos this week so I can come back next week stronger. I am getting back into the Word, I am working out...and my husband have been supportive through all of this. It's hard to be with someone who goes through these hard times but you have to give yourself grace as well. Don't beat yourself up when you are having a rough time. Acknowledge and find out what is right for you to get through it. Thank you guys! I love you all! If there is something you want to see please let me know.
What's good everybody? First I want to show my appreciation to all of you that have subbed and those that watch my videos. Thank you for everything. I wasn't sure if I was making the right move with the videos I have been posting. Some are a hit and miss but I have really been enjoying my own content lately. It's been because of all of you.
With that said I will be missing Monday's upload because family time ran a bit late and I didn't get to finish editing my video. There will be a video Friday though.
I want to let all of you know that no situation is dire. No matter what you are going through you can get through this situation. It's going to be hard and may require a lot of work but if you are up to the task you can have anything you want in life and love.
So tonight my husband decided to cook dinner!! Earlier in the day, I helped him finish a DIY project he's been working on for the last couple of months. I didn't ask him to cook just like he didn't ask me for help with his project. I just asked him if he needed help and if I could help him. We had a blast...I asked questions about what, why, how he was doing this project. I didn't ask before because it's his area (his man cave). But while working I became curious. He decided to thank me and show his appreciation by cooking dinner.
I say all that to say sometimes our partner will not ask for help when they know they need it. Sometimes we just have to stand by them and help them the best way we can. If we don't know how to we have to learn to ask questions. Even if you've been together for a long time still be inquisitive about your spouse. If your spouse does something nice make sure you tell them...
New Video!! This is part 2 of my Why Your Marriage is Failing. Does your spouse have a dream that you just don't get? In this video I talk about being a more supportive spouse.
Yay! I now have the community tab. Thank you to all that have subscribed. We are now at 500 subs!! Woot Woot!! How is your New Year's so far? Mine is good so far...I was knocked before the ball dropped.🤣
