This is NOT a NEW Fighterdiet Pyramid, it’s from 2009 or so.

Let’s simplify fat loss and achieve a healthy body for a wealthy life:

Vegetables are the foundation to FILL YOU UP.

More protein supports building your lean, strong body, I agree, but not when your whole calorie budget is steak, bacon and butter!

To all carnivore addicts, keto fanatics and chronic serial yoyo diet lifers etc, let’s just repeat a few self inquires before you swear by your current love object in nutrition methodology:

1. WHY did you quit all other diets before this one?
2. Was it REALLY the apple or the almonds or the WHEAT bun that made you gain fat? Or was it YOU ending up overindulging when you ‘quit the diet for cheat day turned into cheat week turned into BLAME the GRAIN, the DAIRY or the BEEF’?
3. If you understand energy needs based on a -let me express myself in what’s nowadays politically socially incorrect fashion- and you understand protein, carbs, fat are not uniform in what they provide and how they affect your satiety/adherence to your nutrition system- then YOU REALIZE to feed a calorie budget for a COW when you’re a MOUSE will make ANYONE blow up in body fat!You gotta accept there’s a typical energy requirement based on the optimal body size of a species for reproduction/health/longevity.

My cat and I both go by the same easy calorie calculation program because…. it’s based on BODY WEIGHT without adding the layer of 100 bls of body fat and now we adjust calories to reflect a non optimal sized body!

I can’t take it personally that if I gain 120 lbs to weigh 240 and I’m female at 5’2, I WILL GAIN a lot of body fat if I put my calorie budget on 240 lbs, not on my ‘species ideal’ range!

ANYWAY that’s my ‘2 cents’!

‘Let’s have a strong fitness female grace the ANIMAL PAK ad campaign, wouldn’t that be something! -Brian Moss in 2004.

Brian Moss the living legend of Fitness photography brought me to Manhattan, NYC all the way from Sweden to shoot fitness shots portraying a strong female in nitty gritty training mode.

He taught me how to pose for the camera, how to tilt my face just a tiny bit to go from an ugly duckling to a swan.

You bet I got HOOKED on being a fitness model after that moment of seeing I wasn’t ordinary and basic after all, I had talent, potential.

Animal Pak didn’t go for it, they preferred a male bodybuilder to represent their brand, but imagine if this had been gracing the big billboards, wow, I’d be FAMOUS! :-)

Looking back on my fitness career I’m happy I was young and wanted to be a typical copy of another ‘woman shows she can look sexy in high heels “DESPITE” her strong muscles…

It frustrated me that there was this constant pressure and straight up collective expectation of all women to be striving to pursue what everyone else perceived as ideal:

Be a mother, a wife, be stunning, wearing cute outfits, caring about always looking neat and well put together, a successful business woman who gardens and cooks and cleans at home too, the ultimate superwoman ideal’.

So TODAY, at 44 I’m grateful that I always went my own way, that I escaped ending up playing any roles in life that weren’t aligned with my heart….Because being pretty for others never satisfies the soul, but true self knowledge with age DOES.

Big shout out to @brianmossphoto Moss who found the old archive of pictures I’ve never seen before in my life so I can share them with YOU!

Welcome to FD8 New Years Fitness Program 2026

Nordin introduced her FD8 program she's coaching, which will guide participants through a 2025 New Year's program using Zoom meetings and broadcasts on Instagram, YouTube, and U screen.

She emphasized that the focus is on enjoying the fitness journey rather than treating it as a challenge with a specific end date.

Nordin explained that the program is not a cookie-cutter approach but a manual and guide for participants to create their own fitness routine that works for their schedule and lifestyle.

She stressed the importance of being present in the fitness journey and enjoying the process of repetition and daily routine.

Comprehensive Fitness Program Overview:

Nordin presented a comprehensive fitness program, outlining an 8 week workout system with customizable options and emphasizing the importance of proper form and technique.

She discussed the program's structure, including exercise lists, cardio routines, and nutrition guidelines, while encouraging participants to consult with her for personalized advice.

Nordin also highlighted the importance of self-reflection and goal-setting, and provided various ways for participants to reach out to her for support and guidance.

Practical Nutrition for Fitness Success

Nordin discussed the FighterDiet approach, emphasizing the importance of simplifying nutrition and avoiding overtracking of macros.

She introduced the K.I.S.S Fighterdiet food basket system and encouraged studying the FighterDiet materials, including videos and meal plans, to gain diet epiphanies.

Nordin stressed the significance of learning to cook at home and developing a healthy relationship with food, rather than relying on meal delivery services.

She also highlighted the importance of mindset and self-awareness in achieving fitness goals, concluding with a reminder that health is built on nutrition and encouraging attendees to focus on making mindful food choices.

Next steps:

All participants: Download and review the 2025 New Year's program guide, reflect on personal goals, and consider what causes them to fall off previous programs

All participants: Study the "defeed to refeed" nutrition section and related guidelines in the program materials.

All participants: Join scheduled form checks on Instagram Live and Zoom Meetings to upload and review training form.

All participants: Reach out to Nordin (via WhatsApp or Instagram DMs) or Pauline at fighterdiet.com for one-on-one consultations as needed.

All participants: Attend group sessions on Zoom and Friday Instagram meetings for support and to address confusion or feeling overwhelmed.

Nordin: Lead and host scheduled Zoom Meetings, Instagram Live sessions, and group meetings for program support.

Watch the ZOOM screen sharing video where I go over the book in brief to share about the program!

FDX Friday live session just finished!

I had some technical challenges during the live recording with trying to get you in from waiting room, set up FOCUS mode etc, BUT I DID manage to record it and upload it so YOU and I can spend the time together!

I'm signing off for the weekend but before I DO, I LOVE doing this with you!!

Just hit subscribe and you'll join my FDX community with regular workouts and sessions with me!

Here's the recap from ZOOM:

Guided Wellness Workout Session:

Nordin led a guided workout session that included a 45-minute routine consisting of laughing intervals, foam rolling, a full-body warm-up, and a humming meditation. She emphasized the importance of warming up properly and explained that the laughing intervals were designed to boost mood and reduce stress. Despite some technical difficulties with the meeting platform, Nordin attempted to adjust her settings to improve the participant experience.

Laughter and Mobility Fitness Session:

Nordin led a fitness session focused on laughter and mobility exercises. She began with a 30-second laughing exercise in three sets, emphasizing the meditative benefits and the ability to self-induce happiness. Following this, she introduced foam rolling as a method to improve mobility and massage the body. Nordin encouraged participants to stay warm and maintain a systematic approach while performing the exercises.

Comprehensive Hip Flexibility Warm-Up:

Nordin demonstrated a comprehensive warm-up routine focusing on hip flexibility, muscle activation, and range of motion. The routine included targeted stretches and massages for the hips, legs, glutes, back, arms, and shoulders, with specific emphasis on preventing stiffness and preparing the body for exercise. Nordin counted out each stroke or repetition aloud to ensure consistency and shared that she often modifies the routine based on individual needs and feedback.

Comprehensive Mobility and Flexibility Routine:

Nordin demonstrated a comprehensive mobility and flexibility routine, including exercises for knees, elbows, shoulders, hamstrings, calves, and triceps, using various props like chairs and a roller. She emphasized the importance of maintaining mobility and flexibility for overall health and strength, particularly as one ages.

The routine concluded with a 5-minute meditation session focused on deep breathing and pelvic floor contractions. Nordin expressed her passion for fitness as a holistic practice that enhances both physical strength and mental well-being.

THANK YOU FOR BEING THERE, superstars!
