During the Soomro era in the 11th century, a fisherman named Aubhayo lived in Sonmiani with his eight sons. Seven were strong and capable, but the youngest, Moriro, was handicapped and often mocked by his brothers.
One day, his brothers sailed towards Kalachi ju Kunn (present-day Clifton, Karachi). There, they were trapped in a whirlpool and devoured by a monstrous crocodile.
When Moriro heard the tragic news, he refused to remain idle. With the help of blacksmiths, he designed a massive iron cage armed with sharp spikes on the outside. Sitting inside, he had himself lowered into the deadly whirlpool. The beast, sensing prey, lunged at the cage but was fatally trapped on the spikes.
The villagers pulled Moriro and the cage out, killing the beast. Inside its belly, they discovered the remains of Moriroโs brothers. Their bones were laid to rest in Gul Bai, Karachi, where Moriro spent the rest of his life guarding their graves.
Some traditions say he was buried beside them others believe his grave lies nearby.
This tale lives on through the immortal verses of Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai in Shah Jo Risalo, a symbol of courage, sacrifice, and eternal brotherhood.

This is not a post about complaining or crying over anything but rather just something to be shared with everyone. Mostly, we do 3-4 reaction videos per month for obvious reasons. To have individual sessions so that everyone can express their thoughts over something without worrying about their opinions. So, the recording and editing time jumps up and typically the 25-35 percent of our videos get cleared out of copyrights and can be monetized. For a normal channel, as I've had where I just sit by myself and react to a song speaking in English gives a chance to do 2-3 videos in a single day so around 60-90 videos a month. Applying some simple maths, some 15-23 videos can be monetized but in our case here only a single video in a month on good days gets to have monetized. This channel will always run anyways, even if doesn't make a single penny someday but it will breathe, that's for sure! I don't know how it will but it will, because it isn't being treated as a content producing factory by a corporate minded person. Instead it's just like a baby to a person who is an artist by nature. But, for now it is also being greatly supported by some of the amazing people who love music, art and culture. And I'm hoping one day our community will be more stronger than it is today. You can be the part of it by supporting us on platforms mentioned in our bio or any of the video's description.
P.s. We recently travelled 600 kms to Thar and had such a great time but looking at the numbers on the videos posted from that trip, it doesn't make any sense to me. I hear in the comments to show our culture, art, music, heritage, etc. But I realize most people don't even watch it, like 1k out of nearly 310k doesn't make any sense. May be I missed something but I can't see what.
Dear friends, so sorry for the interruptions during the live streams today. We are still in a very remote area of the Great Indian Thar Desert (Pakistani side) and the reception was so bad. Anyways, I was doing these lives using an Oppo phone but I did get to record a few clips on an Iphone and an insta360. Though my GoPro has been broken from some times. I'll try my very bests to make a good video out of these clips. The aim wasn't just to make a video but also to find some peace and meet some old friends. Though this was totally the first time for our friend respected Mr, Muharam Khan Bughio. A legend indeed ๐
