10 years ago today, July 22, 2015, GoAnimate removed the social features (comments, favorites, messages, followers/following) from the website.
This was due to bad behavior amongst users (especially grounded video creators), and it was a big step in GoAnimate shifting its focus to businesses, like it is today.
It caused many GoAnimate users, such as GoLegacy (GML394), to rely on YouTube as their platform for uploading GoAnimate content.
These social features would return on FlashThemes on September 9, 2023.

It's been 20 years since the first ever YouTube video, "Me at the zoo".
The next Dora video planned for Easter will be made tonight on FlashThemes. I apologize I didn't make it when expected. This is because I am a college student studying for tests n shit. I apologize for that.
In the Dora video, she buys some weed (because Easter and 420 were on the same day this year), and smokes it at Diego and Alicia's easter party, then she gets grounded and possessed by midgets.
