Data Analytics, done right.

Just got a lovely 🥰 Note of Gratitude from one of subscribers. Reason being — an approach for doing end-to-end data analytics Projects and Portfolio I shared with all of you guys. It is creative, it is free, it is convenient. Check it out in this video: https://youtu.be/JR9NX2y7Ow8?si=y8DWm...

Try it yourself and let me know what you think.

Guys 🫶, help me to solve a dilemma. Actually, this might in turn help you.

So, which type of a dataset is it better to use for the next end-to-end data analytics project (?):

Option 1. Modified insider dataset — meaning taking the real world company data which is forbidden to distribute and running it through an algorithm such, that it will be modified. Numbers and names would be changed but the learning value of the dataset would remain. For example, if we would have a data entry “| Mark | 47 years old |” , the algorithm would change it to “| Josh | 57 years old |” and so on. This is as if we would work on the real world company problem I dealt with but with the data which is modified such that the company can not sue me 😀

Option 2. Simply work on with an open-source data as everyone does.

Option 1 is more insightful but is based on modified data, while Option 2 is based on real data but open source, meaning somewhat lame.

What would you suggest?

My first post for the growing community!

So, I really want to make some things straight. At this point, it is important for me to know:

Is money your only motivation to do Data Analytics?

I hear it many times: “Data analytics —that is the way I want to earn money”. Yet, I see something problematic in this motivation. It feels almost like doing whatever but for the money.

So, besides the money, what is your motivation to do data analytics?

Looking forward to your replies
