I am a former Aerospace engineer, wife, and mother of three beautiful children who is passionate about gardening. My goal is to grow a beautiful and bountiful garden within the confines of my 1/3 acre lot that can feed my family while creating a beautiful landscape.
I live in Melbourne Florida, which is zone 10A located in east central Florida known as the Space Coast of Florida. I am best known for using my scientific approach from my experience as an Aerospace Engineer to provide technically accurate content to my audience while adding some entertainment. While my goal is to one day be a real expert in the field, I don't play one on TV. My approach is to bring people along my journey, the good and the bad, and teach them not just what they should do but what I have done, what worked, and what didn't.

I cooked some homegrown collard greens yesterday for Thanksgiving and WOW were they good! We had none leftover and I cooked almost 3 lbs! I cooked them with ham hocks for the first time and I'm never going back. What foods from your garden did you cook?
