Taking children to protests is irresponsible, plain and simple. Ideology shouldn't blind parents to the immediate physical risks they are exposing their kids to.

Even if you believe a protest is entirely peaceful, crowd dynamics can change in a split second. If rogue elements provoke the police and trigger a lathicharge, tear gas, or a stampede, children are the first to suffer.

If things go wrong, the primary blame falls squarely on the parents. It is a direct failure of risk assessment—or worse, a deliberate choice to ignore obvious danger.

Yet instead of taking accountability for putting their children in harm’s way, many will simply point fingers at the state.

The Escalation:

The Delhi High Court had previously directed authorities to monitor his deteriorating health, and the government ultimately moved him to essential medical care under expert advice to prevent organ damage. 

The Polarized Reaction:

Rather than the situation de-escalating, it has created a double-edged sword. On one side, supporters and members of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP)—the movement backing him—argue that he was removed against his will to suppress the protest, escalating their demands to call for the Prime Minister's resignation.

On the other side, critics view any state intervention as either too late or as a forced disruption of a protest. 

When a political environment becomes fiercely tribal, the actual health or safety of the individual becomes secondary to the narrative.

If the state does not intervene, it is accused of malicious negligence; if the state does intervene to preserve a life, it is accused of authoritarian overreach and crushing dissent.

This "damned if you do, damned if you don't" cycle is exactly why internet commentary and opposing factions quickly pivot from one grievance to the absolute opposite.
