Interesting Trivia for the Day:
The first World Environment Day was celebrated in 1974, hosted by the United States with the theme of ‘Only One Earth.’ This day is celebrated every year to spread awareness about conserving our mother nature against the multiple pollutants responsible for climate change.
The 2023 theme is #BeatPlasticPollution, a sober reminder to avoid the use of plastic.

UNESCO’s State of the Education Report for India in 2021, titled ‘No Teacher, No Class,’ revealed that 89% of rural schools have only one teacher. Goa, Arunachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand and Rajasthan have a high percentage of single-teacher schools.
Square Panda India’s Anganwadi Workers Upskilling Program looks to rectify this by building capacities and empowering Anganwadi workers to achieve their learning objects, and help children develop holistically.
