Adele, David Bowie et… moi!

Le mois dernier, j’ai passé quelques journées exceptionnelles avec Tom Elmhirst (mixeur d’Adele, David Bowie, etc.) C’était une formation qui traitait de toutes sortes de sujets en lien avec le mix audio. C’était absolument incroyable!

Tout ça pour te dire que j’offre le service de mix/réalisation musicale.

Dans quelques jours, Atikᵘ (le caribou) arrivera sur toutes les plateformes de streaming. J'ai hâte de partager ça avec toi!

Chantée par Pat Gravel & les Bobettes, la chanson met en vedette Shauit. Mon rôle dans tout ça? Réalisateur, arrangeur, mixeur, etc.

« Chanté en français et innu, Atikᵘ (qui signifie caribou en innu-aimun) met en relief les conditions d’existence actuelles de cet animal magnifique et de son importance historique chez les premiers peuples installés au Nord.
Lorsque l’on mentionne le nom de « caribou », les images qui nous viennent en tête sont souvent idylliques. Or, plus que jamais, le milieu de vie du caribou est menacé par l’activité humaine.
Peut-être que le sort qui guette le caribou nous attend aussi? Nous faisons le pari qu’en prenant soin de lui, nous prenons aussi soin de nous. »

When we think about the caribou, we imagine it living in an idyllic scenery. Unfortunately, now more than ever, the habitat of the caribou is threatened by human activity. Caribou is now on the brink of extinction.

Maybe the fate that awaits the caribou, is the same as the one that awaits us? We make the bet that by taking care of the caribou and its habitat, we are also taking care of us."
