Hey Skaters! My name is Julz, I am a roller skater and roller skating instructor. I live in California, and give private skating lessons at the Fountain Valley Skating Center. I began skating a little over two years ago at age 21 and have been head over skates in love ever since! I have skated a variety of disciplines including freestyle, dance, show, precision, jam, and street skating. After competing artistically for 1 year, I am a 1x American Champion in the ARS skating community, a 1x USARS National Champion, and a 1x USARS Regional Champion! I’ve created this channel to spread light and knowledge about roller skating, and deliver detailed, step-by-step, easy-to-understand roller skating tutorials for you. My hope is to help you build a strong foundation and technique in your skating skills as a result of watching these videos, and to help you continuously grow to be the strongest skater that you can be.

My thoughts, prayers, and strength goes out to all those involved in the plane crash at Reagan National Airport.
Many skaters, coaches, and their family and friends were on American Eagle Flight 5342 returning from the High Developmental Camp, held after the 2025 U.S. Figure Skating Championships in Wichita, Kansas.
Skating is more than a sport - it’s a close family. In this time of overwhelming grief, my heart goes out to the ice skating community and my prayers are with everyone affected by this tragedy.

I’ve moved around a lot over the past few years… Got pregnant in Japan, moved to California and had a baby at 21👼🏻..
Started roller skating 6 months after my C-Section and became addicted, started competing a year later and accumulated many medals including National and Regional titles🏆🥇…
Started teaching private lessons at The Fountain Valley Skating Center about 6 months ago, bought my first home recently at the age of 23, and am very excited to announce that I will be launching my first official business very soon 🥹🥳
These skates have rolled me to places and got me in rooms I never thought imaginable. A lot of people don’t believe me when I tell them that Ive only been skating for less than 3 years, but for me, it’s always been more than just skating; it’s freedom, healing, pure joy, and free therapy. 😂❤️ I’ve poured my heart and soul into this sport, it’s a very rare day where these skates aren’t on my feet from 9 to 5 🤣💯
