After I drop the album, I'm going to start my own independent label and my goal is to create the "a24" of music and help amazing, new, young artists, producers and engineers bring their unique visions and ideas to life, at the highest level.
I’m so tired of these new songs and albums releasing every year.
Songs and albums designed to trend on tik tok.
Songs and albums that sound like songs and albums that we have heard a billion times before.
I wanna see more unique, original and creative songs and albums.
I wanna see more ambitious, groundbreaking and innovative songs and albums.
I’ve been talking to a lot of producers and engineers about this and they ALL agree that there’s a need for change.
I feel like the world is begging for someone to bust down all the fences and expand the definition and experience of music
Thank you for all the love and support this year ❤️
This year was the start of a new era for the nayz channel that I call “Sic Parvis Magna.” We dropped a lot of great instrumentals that a lot of great artists used. Mixed and mastered a lot of great songs for a lot of great artists.
The channel did better this year than the last 2 years.
I also produced a song for Ren, with YZ and Toasty Digital, and I just finished producing another song with YZ for a big artist that is dropping very soon!
It has been a great year
And I never ever ask anyone for anything but I’m gonna need all of your support this next year because If I do everything right and if I have your support… things are going to change.
It’s time to finally start dropping the projects that I have been working on for years now and one of those projects is my debut album.
It will be my first official music project, available everywhere and I wanna make sure everything is done right, because, if done right, this album has the potential to change things. And I know it sounds pretentious but one of my goals for this album was to do something new. Something unique and original. I spent years coming up with new ideas, new techniques and new things that have never been done before in music. If you paid attention to everything I’ve been dropping… you know exactly what I’m talking about.
I looked at every great album that came before and I tried my absolute best to innovate.
I also want people to want to buy the album. No one wants to buy albums anymore because no one is making ALBUMS. People blame streaming and tik tok but these things are just tools… artists and producers are the ones making songs designed for streaming and tik tok and then once they have enough songs, they put them all together and sell it as an album with terrible sequencing, no concept, a bunch of filler music and it’s like… why would anyone want to buy an album if the album is just a playlist of random songs that you can just stream on Spotify?
So, my goal was to make an album that is worth buying and owning. An album that I can promote and people can listen to forever. Timeless messages, stories and concepts. Timeless music that was designed for the album, stands out from everything else in the world and is undeniably great. Great writing, production and engineering. Super entertaining from start to finish. New groundbreaking and innovative ideas and techniques that have never been done before that will hopefully inspire artists to do greater things just like how the greats before me inspired me

I'm reading all the comments and watching all the reaction videos right now, and seeing what Money Ties means to people is just incredible.
I've also noticed people tagging me in the comments and sharing a bit of my story. I just want to say that I see you and I appreciate you. ❤️ Thank you!

I've seen a lot of people mentioning Kujo in the comments, and I want to clear things up and explain exactly what happened and how everything happened, including the Ren song.
Ren mentioned in his post that I almost quit music in 2020 because of the Kujo situation, and I did end up quitting music for a long time. While the Kujo situation was one reason, there were several other reasons, including my label contracts.
You guys don't know me, but I've produced music for some of the biggest artists and labels in the world. I'm part of one of the most streamed albums of all time and I'm also part of one of the most viral songs in recent years.
I don't come from a rich family and I had no industry connections when I started, but It was always my dream to become a great music producer, so I studied the greats and worked on music every day, for years.
When I was 16, I uploaded my first beat on YouTube and it blew up. After that, I started uploading beats weekly, and soon my channel was getting millions of views.
This is when big producers, artists, and labels started reaching out to me. I thought this was my chance to make my dreams come true, so I worked with everyone and signed all the contracts.
I was very young. I didn't know how to negotiate, I had no legal representation, English is my 5th language and my English was terrible. The labels, artists, and producers noticed this and took advantage.
Some paid me a few hundred dollars to own my music; others gave me just 1% of song profits while they made millions.
It wasn't until early 2020 that I started figuring out how my contracts worked, and that just destroyed me.
While I was figuring that out, Kujo (one of my collaborators) and I had a big fight. Both of us made mistakes, but Kujo decided to make videos and posts, lying to people about me. He claimed that I stole his work and played no role in our collaborations, telling people that their favorite beats on the Nayz channel was "all him," which isn't true.
Take my track "Inferno," for example. Kujo programmed the drums, which I then rearranged and fit into the rest of the track that was already 80% complete. I told Kujo exactly what type of drums I needed, and I directed him the whole time we were working on the drums to make sure they were the perfect drums for Inferno. He had no further involvement in the creation of the track, yet he told people that he made the entire track himself and that I stole it from him.
Kujo bullied, harassed, and defamed me on his channel for months, and he encouraged his people to do the same. My YouTube, email, and Instagram were flooded with hate comments and messages, and Kujo loved it. He would always reply to all the hate comments with more insults directed at me, and he would end every comment with "#KUJOGANG" or "#F*CKNAYZ." He gained thousands of subscribers doing this.
Kujo also filed a copyright strike against one of my videos, which had a negative impact on my channel. YouTube demonetized my channel and reduced the channel's reach for months because of the copyright strike.
This is why I contacted Ren. I was the only person in the world who knew exactly what Ren was going through. And to me, it felt like Ren was in this alone, like I was back in 2020. It's a very complicated and stressful situation, and people didn't fully understand before Ren made the video explaining everything... But I did. So I contacted Ren to let him know that I understand and that he's not alone.
Ren replied immediately and we talked about the whole situation. The next day, I was on a call with Ren, and he offered me the opportunity to produce a Kujo diss track with him. I told him that I didn't wanna do it because I wanted to move on from all of this, and Ren respected it.
After the call, I checked Kujo's Instagram page and saw that he liked a comment under one of his recent posts. I don't remember exactly what the person commented, but it was something along the lines of, "Real ones know that Nayz did not produce this song; it was produced by Kujo."
The song this person was talking about is a song that I spent days producing with Kujo. I worked on the song from start to finish and I made sure every aspect of the song was perfect. I also came up with the title, concept, story, I developed the visual language for the song, and I mixed and mastered the song without Kujo.
So seeing Kujo like that comment instead of correcting the person really pisssed me off. The fact that Kujo is still maintaining that lie after all these years is insane.
I immediately hit up Ren and was like "f*ck it... let's do this." 😂
"Let's make the greatest diss track of all time" 😂😂
From there, Ren and I worked on a few songs and the rest is history.
It might seem crazy how things turned out, but during the Kujo situation in 2020, I told everyone that I am the producer of everything that's ever been uploaded on this channel. I may not have added every single "kick" or "piano" that you hear, as I did with my solo beats, but I produced, arranged and engineered everything.
Many people didn't believe me, so I told everyone that time will tell—because, time reveals everything.
If Kujo really was the "genius behind Nayz," as he claimed to be, he would have to start creating incredibly well-produced, arranged, structured and engineered tracks. He would have to start making the 7+ minute storytelling tracks that the Nayz channel is known for, and his solo beats would have to blow up like my solo beats did.
Amidst all the chaos, that's what relaxed me because I knew he didn't have what it takes. And I was right.
Over the past 4 years, Kujo uploaded hundreds of beats and not a single one blew up. His channel never took off and he never made those 7+ minute storytelling tracks like Robot, Pesadelo, The Wild Within, RISE Vol. 1, The Divine Comedy, Eve's Mixtape, etc.
Meanwhile, I made Blood Will Tell.
And I worked on music that went viral. Billions of views across all platforms.
And I build an amazing team of some of the most talented programmers, beatmakers, producers, engineers and musicians in the world.
And now I got to work with Ren.
I'm just so blessed and grateful; I couldn't imagine a better comeback from 2020.
—————————
Looking back, 2020 was the hardest year of my life. I was dealing with family issues, realizing that I have been getting screwed over in the music industry for years, I was getting harassed by Kujo and his people daily, and my subscribers were questioning everything because of Kujo's lies.
I was having panic attacks, sleeping 2 hours a night. I was having breathing problems, heavy anxiety.
It felt like I was stuck in a never-ending nightmare.
There were so many projects I wanted to work on and finish but I just wasn't able to.
I had a lot of self-work to do.
And that's why I quit.
I turned down a lot of big opportunities and I didn't work on new music for almost a year.
Money Ties is the first song that I produced since all of this happened and I'm just very grateful for the opportunity. Not only did Ren give me a fair deal for the first time in my life, but this whole experience made me fall back in love with producing. This is what I love to do, and I'm so thankful that I got to do it again.
I'm currently working on new songs with some of the biggest independent artists in the world.
I also have my own projects coming out soon. Projects that I have been working on and perfecting for years, including an animated movie in collaboration with Japanese animation legend Shingo Tamagawa.
I've never been so excited to introduce new ideas. ❤️🔥
Money Ties with @RenMakesMusic is dropping in an hour on his YouTube channel!
Just wanted to say that i appreciate all the Ren fans who have subscribed to the channel and commented on the videos! I'm gonna try to reply to every single one of you over the next few days because i really do appreciate every single one of you! Thank you guys so much❤️
Hope you enjoy Money Ties! Ren didn't credit himself but he did do some production work on it as well which is amazing. I wish every artist knew how to produce because it makes everything so much easier. I remember sending Ren this 30 second intro idea that ended up becoming "Money Ties" and Ren immediately replied with: "this is the one". He already had the whole song in his head just by listening to the 30 second intro idea that i send him. Like a true producer. And by the end of the day, we had a rough version of the whole song. Just like that. It was unreal how fast it all came together.
And we weren't even in the same room... the song was made through WhatsApp haha
Man...
if i ever get a chance to be in the studio and produce an album with Ren... we're gonna make the best music in the world together. I can see it already.
Also HUGE shout out to YZ and Toasty Digital for working with me on these Ren tracks!
