Hi, I’m Snejana (Sneji) — the creator behind The Modern Nonna. I was born in Bulgaria, spent part of my childhood in Greece, and now call Toronto home. My love for cooking started young, in the most meaningful place I know… my family’s kitchen.
I’m not a professional chef 🧑🍳 — I’m a home cook who believes that incredible food doesn’t need to be complicated. I take the comforting, traditional recipes I grew up with and give them a modern twist so they’re easier, lighter, and actually doable for everyday life.
