Thoughts on scripture from a regular guy. I love to read the Bible and talk about how it applies today.
I have been reading my Bible and taking notes. Oddly enough when you message someone 8 pages of notes they don't actually read it lol. I really just want to get these thoughts out to world, point people to Jesus, and pray that the Holy Spirit works in their life.

They sin more and more ..
This sounds like there is no repentance... There is a process to this,
1st there is the sin. The sin you didn't even know you were capable of. You feel terrible and repent , and ask for forgiveness. You feel it. You've grieved and disappointed your King. You vow to never do it again
Be it gossip or stealing or fornication or lust or rage or manipulation or lying , or whatever it is...
2nd you fall again.
Your heart hurts and you ask for forgiveness. You feel like a failure but this time or the time after, not as bad as the first time
3rd you do it again and it sucks but you think, I'm sorry God. I will do better...
Next you do it again and this time you don't repent right away. There are no tears. And you hate it but this time you believe the lie that you should hide from creator.
Now you have (in your own mind) justified it. And there is no repentance, you don't feel too bad about it anymore and instead of running to God you run away from God and spend your time thinking about how to build your kingdom. And now God isn't on the throne of your life anymore. You are.
Your ideas, your opinions, and your things are what rule your actions and more devastating, your heart...

Some folks think they are blessed because of what they have. But could it be true that those "blessings" are actually a prison given to them by the enemy?
That the beemer, the nice life, the big bank accounts are actually a prostitutes wages? A distraction meant to keep us from the need of our creator?

I'm not saying every monetary thing we have is a prostitutes wages, but it is worth looking at?

We always focus on the underlined part there...
BUT the part before it...
Man that's hard AND YET, if we don't get THAT right, the underlined part is inevitable.
Who are YOUR PEOPLE ?
Who are we to "Correct and Rebuke"?
In context, this is the Apostle Paul's 2nd letter to Timothy. His people were his church?
Who are OUR People?
Who do we have the right and the charge to correct and Rebuke in love,
Who are we to encourage to do right?
Who are we to patiently feed God's word to?
