From the very beginning of our journey, Professor Kasonso walked with me. Sometimes he corrected me, sometimes he encouraged me, but he never abandoned me. He taught me that activism without principle is noise, and that politics without service is betrayal.
Through his platform, Professor Kasonso was a beacon of professional leadership. Frank Garcia Jr. the US Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs has arrived in Lusaka on his second official tour of the continent, which runs from August 30 to September 10, 2026.

Vous savez, je suis resté en prière ces derniers jours, le cœur lourd, en regardant tout ce qui se passe en Zambie. Et pardonnez-moi, mais je ne peux plus me taire, parce qu’il y a une leçon ici. Une leçon douloureuse.
Depuis longtemps je porte un seul message partout oĂą je vais.
Diriger les gens ce n’est pas seulement un combat politique. *C’est un combat spirituel.*
Longtemps avant que le problème n’apparaisse dans les journaux, il bouge déjà dans l’esprit.
Et un leader qui ne voit pas dans l’esprit sera toujours surpris dans la chair.
C’est pourquoi je ne cesse de le dire: *un leader doit avoir des gens qui prient autour de lui.*
Pas seulement des stratèges politiques. Pas seulement des professeurs avec de grands diplômes.
Ils ont leur place, et c’est une bonne place.
Mais la littérature politique ne peut pas lire l’atmosphère spirituelle.
Un directeur de campagne peut compter les votes, mais il ne peut pas discerner un piège tendu dans l’ombre.
Un professeur peut t’enseigner l’histoire, mais il ne peut pas intercéder pour ta vie.
Et donc un leader qui s’appuie seulement sur la sagesse humaine, aussi brillante soit-elle, marche dans une guerre spirituelle avec une simple carte en papier.
La Bible le dit clairement, et ça n’a jamais été aussi vrai:
*"Car nous n’avons pas à lutter contre la chair et le sang, mais contre les dominations, contre les autorités, contre les princes de ce monde de ténèbres..." Ephésiens 6:12*
Lisez ça lentement. Nos vraies batailles ne se gagnent pas d’abord à State House ou au tribunal. Elles se gagnent à genoux, dans la prière.
Et c’est pour ça que mon cœur est lourd. J’ai vu de bons hommes s’élever avec la seule stratégie politique, sans conseiller spirituel, sans partenaires de prière. Et puis j’ai vu l’ennemi passer par cette porte ouverte.
S’agenouiller ce n’est pas une faiblesse. Chercher Dieu avant de chercher un conseil, c’est la chose la plus sage.
Le plus grand mouvement d’un leader, c’est d’admettre qu’il ne peut pas gagner ce combat avec son cerveau seul.
Alors que ceci soit une leçon: *Ne construisez pas votre vie sur la seule sagesse humaine.*
Mettez autour de vous des gens qui prient, qui jeûnent, qui entendent Dieu pour vous et qui vous avertissent avant que le piège ne se referme.
Parce qu’au final, la vie est bien plus spirituelle que physique.

Qu’Il console chaque famille en deuil, protège les innocents, et conduise cette nation vers la paix.
